For the hibachi: the vegetables were cooked perfectly and were very good. The steak portion was small but with some salt was decent. The chicken was better in my opinion not typical hibachi it had almost like a glaze on it that was very good. The fried rice was nothing to write home about and neither was the yum yum sauce. I think the worst offender was the clear soup as it literally had no flavor. For the price point, I wouldn’t return to this location over others.

The food was good, and service was quick. We had 2 appetizers, a sushi lunch and 2 rolls, along with a kids meal and 4 beers for around 100 dollars which I thought was reasonable. The restaurant dining room was pretty cold, but it was also a cold day. I would go back.

Hands down, my husband’s and my favorite sushi spot north of the Cities. We’ll gladly drive 20 minutes out of our way to come here. The service is always friendly, and the food is phenomenal. The Cowboy roll is my personal favorite, but we truly haven’t tried anything we didn’t love.

Yanagi is such an awesome sushi restaurant! Amigo roll is a dup to a roll at Billy sushi! So good! Jamie is the best server and introduced us to the tartare app that is SO good and is my new “always order” appetizer. Bonus for having a good glass of Joel Gott Cab and Sapporo beer! I used to live DT mpls and this place makes me so happy I don’t have to drive downtown to get sushi! Thank you to the team that works there! They are awesome!
