Whenever I go to the Hawk I get the same Bison Burger. The staff is very nice and friendly. This is my favorite restaurant and I am so sad it is 3 hours away from my house. When I am near the area I always know I need to go to the hawk. Their prices are really good for the amazing quality food you get. I also want to try camping at their campground and hosting a party their “The Nest”(a huge party building). I highly recommend going to eat at The Hawk!!!
Parking: They have lots of parking spots for vehicles.
Kid-friendliness: It has multiple kid options at low prices that are really good.
Wheelchair accessibility: It has ramps to get into the restaurant.

Food is way over priced for what you end up receiving. Menu is also inaccurate not reflecting what's described in the components of a dish with what you end up getting. Ending taste was mediocre totally not worth the price that's being asked for

Hidden gem. We drove from Baudette because the restraunts in Baudette are closed on the weekends. The Hawk Tavern is by far the best food and service I've had in a long time. The food was amazing and at a reasonable price for the level of quality. When we walked in, a party of 6, there weren't any available tables. We left the building, and the owner/chef came out and offered a separate room for us. He said he does not like turning away customers. He checked on us after we ate. Very friendly and a master chef. He said they do not take reservations, but to please call ahead, and he can let you know if there is availability. This is worth the drive from Baudette or Warroad. Highly recommend and will return.
