Popped in for some lunch with my boyfriend and was blown away by how tender and savory “Just the tips” were. Recommend by our lovely server Amanda. Layered on a bed of mash potatoes with blue cheese and onion strings this one was a must. The Meatballs were also phenomenal, could use a few more bread slices with the meatball app. Everything was splendid. Thanks for the great lunch.

Baldamar has been my favorite restaurant in Minnesota since it opened, and I used to come multiple times a month almost exclusively for the prime rib sandwich with truffle fries. It was easily one of the best items on the entire menu and the main reason I kept coming back. I tried many other menu items over the years and they were good but nothing compared to that sandwich.
During my recent visit, I was told the prime rib sandwich had been removed from the menu. This was honestly really disappointing, especially considering how popular it was. There were multiple times I came in and it was already sold out, which makes the decision to remove it even more confusing.
The waitress recommended the Wagyu French Dip and told me it was very similar, so I decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, it was nothing like the prime rib sandwich. The bread was already soggy from the French onion au jus when it arrived and completely fell apart when I tried to pick it up. On top of that, the flavor was overly sweet and not at all savory, which made it even more disappointing. I tried to keep eating it hoping it would improve, but the sandwich was so soggy I couldn’t enjoy. I was so sad and disappointed I eventually lost my appetite and went home hungry.
It’s really unfortunate because Baldamar used to be one of my favorite places to go. The prime rib sandwich was clearly a guest favorite. I really hope the restaurant considers bringing it back to the menu.

Had a couple cosmos and a filet mignon tonight. Their steaks are worth a visit on their own. Bread is life has lots of weird sounding options- but all good! The lobster mac is also amazing! Friendly and attentive staff as well!

We stopped here for a quick bite at lunch time after being at Rosedale. We've never been here before. We shared the Big B2 waygu burger and short rib birria tacos. Wow! The food was ridiculously good! And it was on the happy hour menu so it was quite a deal!
