We were at a hotel nearby, and stopped for lunch. I had the fried hot chicken sandwich, my husband had the shrimp tacos. Delicious!! I love stouts and porters, but off season, Jeff suggested the Oktoberfest. Also delicious. It was so comforting, we went back the next day for lunch. The stuffed meatballs were spicy, but not too spicy, my husband had the spicy burger. What a treat to have such a great place to hang, while on the road.
Really nice space and like the fact that they have food service from Tipsy Steer. I had the Baby got Bock (amber) and the Pinecone which were both very good. The food was also good, I had the cheese pizza. This is definitely worth the visit if you're in the Minneapolis area.
It was my first time visit at High Pines Brewery. I must admit I was very impressed how big this establishment is in comparison of other breweries in the Twin Cities area. Parking was very easy to acquire and the first thing I noticed was the brewery patio. Also noticed that it seemed to be connected with a restaurant.The beertender explained we could sit at the front of the bar or choose a table/booth to receive service.
