Thank you for making my day! Today is my birthday and my hubby went to get my favorite treat(The House Made Chocolate Cake) at the Stillwater location, but they were closed. Then those little angels inside saw him lingering at the door and after he told them his dilemma they gave him TWO slices to save the day! Showing kindness like that is a true testimony to your business model and all that is right in this world! We love that you are in Stillwater now. Thank you and see you soon!

Day 2 was TOO much at Stillwater Keys. I didn't expect things to go well but the attitude of the manager topped it off. The hostess did a great job. My waitress got more tables and the tables around me went unattended for 15 -20 minutes. It was my poor luck that I came at a shift change around 1:30. When my salad finally came, it was missing the walnuts. I waited 10 minutes for the waitress to check back to no avail. I then went looking for the waitress fortunately the hostess found her. Then it took another 10 minutes to get the walnuts. :( The waitress was missing again after I completed my meal. I waited for 10 minutes and then went looking for her as I hadn't planned on a 2 hour lunch. On the check there was a CONV fee. I asked if that was a credit card upcharge. The manager said no, it was a technology fee and couldn't be waived. Here's an idea - add 3% to the menu prices. The manager asked me how things were and I mentioned the issues that I had encountered. The manager told me that "she felt they were doing a good job". Oh my, no hope for things improving with that attitude. I would recommend waiting a week before going to the restaurant. I don't have much hope for improvement. Ultimately, people will vote with their attendence and won't tolerate poor service.

We love going here. It's very much home cooking . The turkey dinner and turkey burger are fabulous. The desserts are delicious.

First time here and wanted to purchase a whole rhubarb sour cream cake. They didn’t have a whole cake, but mgr allowed me to purchase the remaining slices (3/4) of cake at a discount and threw in a few chocolate cake slices. Both cakes were amazing! Highly recommend this cafe!

We were hungry for hot turkey sandwich with the mashed potatoes gravy and cranberries. Keys did not disappoint! Huge servings each, we could easily have split 1 order. As it worked out we had 2 more meals EACH with the leftovers we brought home. It tasted fantastic, even as day old leftovers.

Parking: It’s located in an old strip mall with lots of parking.
Dairy Queen is across the parking lot if you’re into that for dessert.

I've been going to this location since 1990...why because of great food and service. Last week Friday we ordered a birthday pie (that's a real thing). The pick up was supposed to be later this morning. Well overnight storms came through and cut off power to large parts of the Twin Cities and apparently to Key's Cafe in Roseville. They called to let us know that they have been without power since the second wave of storms came through and knocked out their power at 5 am. Unfortunately the pies we wanted could not be baked. BUT they wanted to come through and deliver something for the birthday girl. They gave us multiple options and then also volunteered to drop them off in person at our office. They delivered LOTS of wonderful treats for the birthday girl and went way above and beyond. THIS is the reason we have been going to Key's Cafe for nearly 35 years. Thank you.
