The cooked foods were delicious. 😋 The sashimi and sushi were thin and small and they didn't taste fresh. The server who UNDERLINED the 20% TIP section with a black pen left a bad impression. We were going to tip anyway but she shouldn't have to put on a act. Her services felt forced, was overly friendly with a high voice and calling me sweetie. As customers, we should be able to tip how much we want. I always tip 20% because I know how hard servers work. There's no need to point it out how much we should tip. We ended up paying $95 for two people, AYCE. The prices have gone up since I last visited. I probably will not come back.

I love the all you can eat menu! The soups, chicken, sushi, and salmon are tasty! They have new robots that bring out food every now and then. The staff seems to be very friendly and I think they do a great with the orders. I honestly have never had to wait and that is a huge plus, even on holidays or weekends. If you want a calm date night this place is perfect and for family dinner they have everything you need.

I had two bones in my tool tonight. Small bone in one roll and a large bone in another. Was brought to managers attention yet our meal wasn’t comped. My date paid so whatever, but I could’ve diedðŸ˜.

My kids love the all you can eat sushi. Their favorite is the kyoto roll. This location now has 2 cat robots to help deliver food which is so cute!

I stumbled across this little sushi spot while visiting the Twin Cities and I’m so glad I did. From the outside, it looks like one of those hole-in-the-wall places you might overlook, but step inside and it’s warm, inviting, and has a really fun vibe. The service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and the food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully put together. It’s the kind of place that surprises you in the best way: unassuming on the outside, delightful on the inside. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area and craving sushi

My favorite sushi place. All you can eat and great cuts, not the cheap stuff.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kioto Shuchi with a group of friends, and we were thoroughly impressed! The sushi was absolutely delicious, with fresh flavors and beautiful presentation. Our servers were attentive, ensuring that our glasses were always full and our needs were met promptly.
The environment was warm and inviting, with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The combination of good food, excellent service, and pleasant ambiance made for a fantastic dining experience.
We would highly recommend Kioto Shuchi to anyone looking for a great sushi spot with attentive service. We'll definitely be back!

I’ve eaten dine in here a few times before. Today I had delivery. Everything arrived hot except the sushi of course. I think they should’ve bagged the sushi separately from the hot stuff
The sushi I’ve decided is only ok. I’ve had it here many times and it’s ok but I had it elsewhere and that place is now my favorite. (Similar place in that they also have AYCE, ramen, teriyaki, hibachi, etc versus some ramen places that are more traditional/fancy ramen). The reason is because the pieces always come apart at Kyoto
I also ordered the ramen which I’ve also had before but can’t remember how it was and didn’t get to it today
And then last I ordered the chicken teriyaki, which is what’s pictured. It came with miso soup and a small salad both of which were good. I’ve never had teriyaki anywhere else or if I have it’s been a while and this was not what I expected. I thought it would have a sauce but honestly just tasted like chicken and vegetables with pepper.
The times I have dined in the service is friendly. The atmosphere is ok however a little dated and some things need to be fixed/replaced both in restaurant and restroom.

The lady that waited on us was amazing! Super nice. The food was good, too. With all you can eat, most of it isn't the same the same quality as a standard Japanese restaurant. But, it was still delicious. I'd recommend the curry chicken, hand rolls, and miso soup.

The food was good and the staff was very friendly. The charged $10.99 for our 8 year old, $9.99 for our 7 year old, and $3.99 for our 2 year old. There is a cool BellaBot that delivered the food but the waitress was still close by to help is as needed.
