We rented Makwa outside of their normal business hours for a private event to celebrate our daughter’s high school graduation. Having moved out of state her sophomore year, this was the perfect venue to gather together with our TC family and friends. Makwa provided the beverages and we brought in decorations, and sweet & savory treats. So many guests asked how we found out about this most perfect venue. Luna was on hand as barista for any specialty drinks, and was delightful....
Excellent drinks (sugar maple latte is my favorite), lovely atmosphere with a vibe that is calm but not stately or awkward like so many quiet coffee shops can be. A whole wall of books, windows, plenty of places to sit.

Really cute coffee shop! And busy! Surprisingly it was not loud with all seats inside being taken and gave a more calming vibe 😌
