Maverick's Real Roast Beef

Just tried for the first time and was really good. I recommend the Beef’N Cheddar

Heard a million great things. Ate there today and I couldn’t even tear my way through this roast beef everyone talks about. So full of thick fat and undercooked, it was impossible to eat.

The food here is always delicious, I usually try to wait until I've tried to be a few things, and let me say everything here is phenomenal and the service is always so fast, I've had the turkey Swiss sandwich, the Cuban, and the roast beef and the fries and everything was always fresh and delicious, and their whiskey habanero sauce is so addicting. Definitely always a go-to stop in Roseville!!

Ordered Door Dash (they’re finally on there) for lunch delivery. Caribbean Jerk Biscuit tossed in a tangy “house made” jerk sauce, crispy onions, on a butter toasted bun. Good spice flavor, brisket was smoked perfectly had the right moisture, and the potato cakes had a great crunch. It’s quality food and you can tell they love what they do. Definitely recommend. Follow me for more true reviews.

I have only ever been to Mavericks twice in my life. Once back in about the year 2000 when I was in town for a concert and my friends and I were thinking of getting Subway next door. But there was a long line (no idea why, maybe it was new back then?), but while we were waiting in line the owner of Mavericks waved us over to their joint.

Let's just say, I have spent. The last 20+ years dying to come back and telling anyone I know from the Twin Cities to eat here.

Finally got back today, and I was even more impressed then before.

This place is my Mecca. There is nothing I would rather eat than the roast beef sandwich from Mavericks. Throw some giardenara, horsey, onions and their signature BBQ sauce on top, and it was perfect.

Honestly, I have hyped this up in my head for years, and it still exceeded my expectations.

Anyone who doesn't appreciate this place should receive a gift card to Arby's so they can figure their life out. ?

This place has really gone down hill. I used to crave their roast beef sandwiches and fries. But the flavor isn’t there anymore and it is wildly over priced.
