Ol' Mexico Restaurante & Cantina

We loved this place , years back finally came back to visit the Ol Mexico and it was terrible this was mine and my wife’s favorite spot , the menu change completely, now u pay for chips and salsa , just everything is different and extremely over price , sad to see this awesome place go to trash,, never will be coming back to this ol Mexico !!

A buddy and I stopped here for enchiladas. He had chicken and I had beef. His chicken was dry and my beef was pretty mediocre. I'd compare it to cafeteria mexican food.

The food was good, but expensive for what you get. Chips and salsa are not included.

Food taste so basic to be so pricey . I really expected my plate to taste like real Mexican food. It had barely flavor on the enchiladas and our server was not professional. Just because I'm young and my gf looks young too he thight we were kids and barely paid attention to us. I regret giving him a tip .

Been here a few times, they changed owners in spring of 2020 and the food improved a lot, more authentic and fresh. On the downside, they now close much earlier than before and staff have been really rude if we come within 30 minutes of their posted closing time, even to the point of refusing service. Love the food but on a couple occasions the staff have made the experience pretty negative

Awesome service and the shrimp tacos with lime & strawberry salsa was so delicious!

Ambiance was on point, very colorful and mood lighting. Friendly but respectful staff with great service. Food was Delicious much better than my first visit. With a new menu, I recommend and am happy I gave it a second chance.

Stopped by for a late Saturday lunch with my wife. We both had the 3 item combo with a cheese/onion enchilada, deep fried shredded beef taco, tostada, rice and beans. The enchilad was as always very tasty on a dark chile sauce. The tostada was a bit above average when compared to other mexican restaurants we visit. However, the deep fried shredded beef taco was fantastic. The flavering that they use in the beef is just like Mom used to make it. In fact it was so good this time that my wife ordered a second one. My wife and I started going here when we first started dating at 15. And to be honest, its their shredded beef taco that has kept us coming back here for almost 40 years now. Oh how time flies. So if you venture out and try this place, make sure you order at least one fried shredded beef taco. You won,t be disappointed.
