If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I've been to other Old Chicago restaurants, but this one really stood out. Their selection of beer made it a hard decision on what to get! My server, Maeve, was great. She offered tasting of the beers I was deciding between. She was also very attentive and helpful the rest of the visit. Great work! She recommended the Tuscan Chicken pizza with spinach which was a great choice. I'm usually a cheese only kind of person but I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I was too full for desert. I was very tempted to get the dark chocolate fudge cake to go! Overall the service and food was amazing! I will definitely be back soon.

I am not sure if our chicken sandwiches sat forever or what was going on. We literally waited one hour for our food. Are fries or soaked and oil, my son had a spicy sandwich and I had an original but both of them looked like they sat in the oil way too long and they were so hard, we did not eat them, we could not eat them. These pictures are how are plates looked when we left. I paid over $100 for food we did not eat. I was very disappointed as I've been going to Old Chicago since I was a child, I'm only 35 now but that's been many years. The check-in staff was not very friendly whatsoever. I should not have tipped $20 But I know it wasn't the waitress's fault for the food being so terrible but I'm not sure what took a whole entire hour for us to get our food. The spinach artichoke dip came with not enough chips to even eat all of the spinach artichoke... A friend of mine did get the Alfredo meal and she did enjoy it. But sadly three of us did not eat dinner that night. I was super confused on why it took so long for us to receive our food as it did not seem very busy whatsoever. And our waiter came to our table twice during our 1 hour and 30 minute stay. After we were sitting and waiting for our food, after the appetizer (1 hour later), we just wanted to leave. I'm writing this review in hopes that it was just a very understaffed night or maybe a new cook or something? But I felt somebody higher at this establishment should see these photos of this food and here our experience. Thank you.

Had a great time! Food was good and the wait wasn't long at all. Though our service was incredible! Talia was amazingly helpful and kind and always came to the table with the biggest smile. Will definitely become a regular thanks to the food, but Talia was the cherry on top we needed! Also really nice atmosphere as well!

Loved this place for decades now. What’s the deal with the bathrooms though? Tried to use them, and there was a fingerprint lock on the doors?Sibley at the bar, coming in clutch, with the bathroom code. Bless!

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, wheelchair accessible seating. Wide aisles.

Stopped in tonight cause I heard good things from friends. I think our servers name was Brandon or Brayden, a younger looking kid. Service was outstanding to say the least. The guy was friendly and seemed chill as could be. Our food was delivered very quick, and drinks were too. restaurant was pretty clean and well kept. And drinks were strong ;). There was a code to enter the bathroom FYI. Food was pretty cheap and seemed like a good deal. I'd recommend this spot any day.

Stopped by around 2pm today for lunch. The atmosphere is cozy and the booth seating is very comfortable with plenty of room to slide in and out of.As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the bartender who doubled as our waitress. She was very high energy and very attentive, filling our drinks without any of us needing to ask. She was very professional and was able to juggle the bar patrons and our table with ease!I had the Italian melt sandwich for lunch, very hearty! and very tasty! What was really unique about this place is that they offer fries, salad and Cole slaw as a side but they also gave me the option of fresh veggies to go with my sandwich! One of the people in our group ordered the chi town trio, which looked awesome, it will definitely be the next thing I order!

Sad because I really like the pizza from here but I’m never ordering again because there’s somebody in that kitchen that ain’t careful.. ordered a pizza on Wednesday 4/26 and my entire pizza had little hairs all over it. Straight up curly hairs all over the pizza. I couldn’t even believe it and I am forever disgusted. One hair is bad enough but this was like over 10 hairs. Someone needs to shave their beard or wear a net because that’s absolutely ridiculous.

We sat for 15 minutes before anyone asked our drink order. Another 10 for our drinks to come. We ordered our food it took 45 mins to get our food and it wasn't made correctly Philly cheese steak sandwichs with carrots and jalapeños peppers ? ? and cold waffle fries. Not good, we left without eating hardly anything.

Greeted right away. Hostess let us sit wherever we wanted it was later in the evening. Server was super friendly came right up. Gave a good suggestion on pizza crust that we may like since it was our first visit. Great choice crust was crispy and sauce was very tasty. Good flavor. The salad was awesome. The dressing had a bit of a kick which made it even better. Ingredients were fresh and well put together. We will be back

We dined in for their happy hour and it was delicious! The boneless wings were perfect and got the personal pan pizza! Wow! Super good pizza and the Buffalo was on point! Our server Sibley was very nice and attentive! And I only spent $22! This was my first time at Old Chicago and I will be back!

We came in to celebrate 2 birthdays after Osaka in Roseville turned us away at the door due to staffing issues. Our server was nice but clearly had too many tables to offer a good dining experience. It was obvious that the 2 servers on shift had way too much to handle so this was poor managing of the shift. We waited about 40 minutes with no follow up from our server before we had to flag her down to check on how the food was coming along. We were told that half of our meal was messed up and it all should be out in another 10 minutes. We asked if we could get the half of our food that was done brought out and we were told that there was something messed up with that half too. So our food was not entered in it was very clear. The manager steps out and apologized for the mistake and offers to comp the bill 50% and send us home with 2 cookies to help make up our experience. We waited the 10 minutes we were told our food would be ready and waited an extra 10 minutes before having to grab someone else to see where our food was. At this point we’ve been in the restaurant for over an hour with no food. Our food arrives a few minutes after asking about it then we realize none of us have any silverware and half of us grab some from the table next to us and the rest wait another 5 minutes to get someone to bring us silverware. We eat our meal and the food was good. Once finished we flag down our server once more to try to pay immediately so we can leave and we ask about the cookies that were promised. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get our credit card back along with cookies. When our cookies came out we had 1 for there and 1 to go, our cookies came out at different times and the one that was served was an undercooked, soggy cookie dough mess. I don’t usually complain as I’ve worked in the service industry for several years and understand nights like these but wow. Not to mention my toddler had been sat with a high chair that was 2 wiggles away from falling apart sending her straight to the ground. I understand staffing issues and other variables were probably involved but you should stop seating tables if the staff you do have is overwhelmed. Quality over quantity. Looking around the restaurant we noticed this wasn’t just our experience as others were in the same boat. A few people even got up and left as we should’ve done.

Overall, this places food is 6/5 stars it is amazing. The pizza in the photo is a lemon chicken spinach pizza. The service was nothing special, you know. The atmosphere was AWESOME. There were two I sides of the restaurant, the bar, and the non bar side it was quieter on the non bar side. This place is amazing, and I will stop here every time I see it.

Kid-friendliness: It was good for a place with a bar in it. If you have toddlers or babies, you might want to sit on the restaurant side.

We were told it would be 15-20 minutes to get a table. Great! So we stood in the bar area to allow more people to come in behind us from outside. While there, a server asked us to return to the door area because those tables were for customers who are buying food... let that sink in... We moved closer to the door. At the end of the 20 minutes, we were told we would wait another 30-40 minutes for a seat because the kitchen was so backed up! There were empty tables everywhere! As we were leaving - we decided to go across the street - one host informed the other that the kitchen was clearing out now! Had you seated us and then explained the kitchen was backed up, we would have understood. As it was, you lost our purchase tonight. We spent our money with the restaurant across the street and they were happy we were there! Food was great and service was awesome - just not at your place!

I brought my younger cousins here, and it was not great. We were not acknowledged until 30 minutes after we sat down. It wasn’t too busy, and from the looks of it there were 3 servers, a bartender, and a manager on the floor. Our waitress, Sibley, was pretty buy, understandable, but the fact that multiple other people walked by and did not say anything was not okay. We finally got our food in, and everything was fine. Someone that was not our waitress ran the food. Apparently this caused a mix up and part of the food got thrown away??(I think she just forgot to send it). Honestly that would have been fine, but the fact that we waited 30 MINUTES to be greeted is ridiculous. Also, while I wasn’t expecting it— a tip- if you mess up this bad take the appetizer off the bill and when you bring another persons food 20 minutes late you could also take that off the bill.
