Osaka Sushi & Hibachi Roseville

My family and I have been going here for years. Birthdays, reunions, celebrations, you name it, this place is our first choice. We absolutely love the food here, everyone is friendly, and no matter what you get, it is quick and a great quality.

The older female server in the traditional sit down restaurant area is terrible. Worst service ever. Rude every single time my husband and I had an encounter with her. No silverware, never stops by to refill drinks or checks on us, slams dishs/glasses on the table. When we make requests for drinks, napkins or silverware she says ok and then starts wiping of tables, collecting dishes, visiting other tables. She may return in 10+ minutes. We are regulars and she always gives me the check or asks if we want seperate checks (my husband always pays). The food is not good enough to put up with that type of treatment. Don't bother to complain, the guy at the front desk does not care. He will just smile. They don't care. Very trashy people. You get what you pay for. I got a cheap meal with bad service. Fool me once...........

Don’t give these people your money. The owners are an older Asian couple, him at the front desk, and her the ONLY server in the dining room. It is obvious that it’s by design and not a short staffed scenario. They are both rude, showing less than zero appreciation for the fact you dined at their restaurant. No “hello”, “goodbye”, or “thank you”. You are rushed, she is rushing and running around speaking and listening only enough to 75% hear what you want. You will want to ask for more, but she will be flying around the room thinking she’s got it locked down, but missing so much of what good service means, beyond simply just getting 100% of what the customer wants. The appetizer came after the entre (you’re correct, no concern here), and extra items that were missed or not heard due to hurry came well after everyone is full without an apology or offer to remove from the bill. These people are happily cashing in on all the people flowing through their doors, if only they can manage the obvious disdain they have for proving service. The food was fine for the typical Benihana knock off- crap shrimp sauce, and of course the steak sauce was also forgotten.

terrible experience. The waitress was rude, constantly snatching stuff out of my hands and rushing us. Now I have food poisoning, it hasn’t even been 24 hours since I ate there!! I literally woke up with my stomach in shambles.

Service was fantastic and was very happy with how cheerful our server was. Sat at the bar and honestly I was disappointed in the quality of food. I had the chicken and filet minon hibachi and it was very underwhelming for the price. The rice was extra but was nothing honestly extra about it, maybe a bit of soy sauce? The veggies were mostly onion. The chicken was thin and dry, filet minon was decent. The shrimp was aweful. It was extremly fishy.
For the price I feel it should have been a bit better. Just a bit disappointed! Service was good so its kind of hard to write a bad review.

Wow this is by far the BEST hibachi restaurant I’ve ever been to. Their bartender kicks hella ass and there is absolutely a reason he is behind the bar everytime we come in. That dude knows what he’s doing! The food is incredible, the servers are amazing and we will always recommend this place to anybody looking for a delicious meal cooked perfectly everytime.

I called ahead to see if I and friend can share a meal.at the hibacia seating. She said yes. So we went. That was not the case when we got there.because nobody was siting by us we rudely were told we have to sit in the dining room if we want to share. So we did. Than they were so rude would not talk 2 us. And just placed r food done and walked away..we did not tip. They r rude there they just want your money. I would not waste your time.

Good food especially the side dish of fried rice. Hibachi here isn't a buffet but à la carte in my experience. Good atmosphere. Calm but a little pricey for the basic meal order.

It is a very good restaurant I love this place I cannot wait to go back the service was great the food was great in the atmosphere is on point 😁 this is a nice place for couples to go have dinner and Friends

Each time we visit we've enjoyed ourselves. This visit was no different. And to find out after dinner that our chef was new? Amazing and Absolutely delicious!
