When I saw that multiple coffee shops and delis sell St. Paul Bagelry bagels, I had to go to the source for what must be the best bagels in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Upon hearing that story, the manager/owner was quick to tell me about his family starting the business, the NY-style to authentic NY bagel comparison, his trip to New York to sample bagels there, and what his shop is known for — their large wholesale business; good bagel sandwiches; great music albums played on a turntable....
I never understood why people liked bagels so much until I bought some from here at my Mississippi Coop. Then it all became crystal clear! These are not your chain franchise bagels!
We live nearby and have been loving their bagels since the start but the last few times the bagels have been lower quality:(. Not fresh and taste day old. Shaping is inconsistent and this affects texture. We r sad that one of our favs has fallen off
