Great presentation! Boy howdy they should have been listed as an entre with a side of sour cream and cheese. The food was great. The waitress did a very poor job waiting our table. My husband asked for a 2nd refill of coffee & didn't receive it. My daughter asked for a fork didn't get it. And I went up to the desk to ask for dessert & stood there for almost 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged I was was standing there. That is why I'm rating you one star.

Great small town fuel stop with an excellent cafe, friendly, clean, good home style food. Good prices for good food... I wish every stop was as pleasant as Rothsay travel stop and cafe.

We stop at Rothsay truck stop/cafe quite often cause my bf drives truck and its usually one of our favorite cafes to eat. But today we were going through so called in our order to go and my son's and ran in to get out food and the girl was working was sweet gave me our food I handed her my card cause she said the slider by me was broke. She walked to other end of counter with my card and came back and then slid it on my slider anyways which I thought was a little odd but whatever I thought and signed my card receipt rounding up my bill to an even $30 leaving her like around $3.38 tip on our to go order. I messed up a little on first receipt which you could still read but still filled out 2nd one for her too just in case and even told her that total I wanted it closed for was $30 and she looked at me and smiled and said Ok and we thanked each other and off my kids and I went....well about an hour later I get my notification on my phone about all transactions on my card and she closed it for $31.62 which would leave her a $5 tip!!! WTF?!! Yes its only a little over a buck but it's the principal!! ITS STEALING!! I called the cafe and the same girl answered she played d*** with me at first and then told me to come back for a free something I don't even know what she offered ...i told her I couldn't I was trucking and I just wanted to know why my card was charged for a diff amount and she tried to play d*** with me again for a sec and then finally gave and apologized saying she must have made a mistake. CLEARLY NOT A MISTAKE! I told her im not gonna make a big stink over it cause it was only a lil over a buck but not ok she apologized again..... SO JUST A HEADS UP TO EVERYONE WATCH YOUR TRANSACTIONS AND THAT'S IN ANY RESTAURANT CAUSE IT'S SO EASY FOR THEM TO DO!! VERY DISAPPOINTED ?
