Now El Barco. Ate breakfast here on 2 consecutive days. Very good. I think it's better than when it was Stumpy's. Nice selection, friendly service, reasonable priced .Try something with the green sauce, yummy ?
We have visited Stumpys a few times over the past four years and every time we have has good service and great food at a reasonable price. This time was no exception. What made it even more special was, even though they are closing in a couple of weeks due to the owner's retiring (and finding no buyer to take over), this hasn6dampened the spirit or service of the employees. Great service!Our waitress was especially attentive when I asked to buy one of their remaining T-shirts....
We hadn't been to Stumpy's for more than 10 years. No real reason, except it is more than 45 minutes from home. After hiking in a nearby State Park, we stopped at Stumpy's for lunch. The service was fast and friendly, the beer was cold, and the food was great. We will be back in less than 10 years!
