HIDDEN LOCAL GEM! The food here is excellent!! It’s authentic and the owner really cares about the quality of his product. The inside is clean and it’s great for dining in and take out. The portions are very generous too. It’s rare to find great food in the mid west and this place is is a hidden gem!! The owner is just the sweetest man too!

Excellent curizo supremo burrito. The Best carnitas quesadilla my daughter and I have ever eaten. We'll definitely be back again to try more of the dishes here. Nice remodel of what looked to be an old service station.

This place used to be great but prices have increased and they say they charge 1.00 extra per sauce. The salsas are in tiny containers? Your meals should come with the sauce of your choice. Sad. Was told sour cream comes with the quesadilla not salsa but yet I wasn’t even given sour cream and was charged 6.00$ extra for 2 1oz salsas?! Ridiculous!

I have only had their ice cream selection. Which has a decent selection. I have had a few of their flavors and they have been good. The people I have all gone with have liked their choices so as of now, I haven't heard anything negative about their ice cream selections. the atmosphere is cozy. Feels diner-ish. There are picnic tables for outside eating as well

I recently visited Genesis Restaurant in Charles, Minnesota, and had an incredible dining experience! The Quebradillas were absolutely amazing—perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor. To top it off, I tried the Fat Elvis Ice Cream, which was a delicious treat with a fun twist. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was fantastic. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

This site used to be a snack bar.. ice cream, hamburgers, treats for people heading to or coming from Whitewater State Park.
It's been remodeled and expanded but you can still get hamburgers and Chocolate Shoppe ice cream.
Sunday dinner with Mom and my wife.
The layout is minimal but bright, good visibility and an open plan.
You can order at the counter or sit and look at menus, and there are televisions up with homemade promotions- endearing but silent.
Chips with beans and cheese automatically- not black beans, not particularly spicy but a good appetizer all on its own.
Mom had a bacon cheeseburger with tots and a Zanzibar chocolate milkshake, my wife had a burrito supremo with a strawberry milkshake, and I had a burrito supremo with horchata.
The milkshakes are excellent.. thick, made with real ice cream, almost too thick for the kinds of straws we get nowadays.
Mom's burger was thick, well done without being charcoal and big enough she took half of it home.
Our burritos (bowls) were ample without being overflowing. Carnitas was tender and flavorful, tastes blended nicely and the beans weren't refried, which was an interesting touch.
Worth the drive from Rochester, and if I swing back around lunchtime I'll try the Mayor Burrito.
Excellent food and service! We tried the torta Cubana, quesadilla birria and a pork tamal. We loved it all! We have a lot of experience with traditional Mexican food and can vouch that this place is legit. It is family friendly with space outside as well as a wide selection of Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream flavors. We are so happy we stopped and look forward to coming back with the kids soon.

Delicious! Fresh! Not the usual burritos-and-tacos Mexican food. There is actually someone in the kitchen cooking! This restaurant is well worth a little trip out of the way. The service is still a little rough around the edges, but the atmosphere is charming and the food spectacular.
