No restaurant here. Just a whole lot of signs that say RESTAURANT. If you ask the smart mouth cashier about it, she'll explain that "there hasn't been a restaurant here for two years."
Exactly what the family needed to stretch out!
Great food and service!
We travel through Minnesota often and always make Whitewater Travel Plaza in St. Charles one of our stops. Our favorites include a sit-down breakfast meal and cream cheese filled muffins to go! The staff is amazing, top notch customer service! Overall, a great experience every time!
Best soup in the Midwest ,! Lousey chili.
Is not a bad place of visit

This is a dandy little truck stop. Unfortunately, due to water run off, the restaurant is closed. According to Pops, the owner's Dad, some heavy rains got into the basement, where the restaurant is located. Of course, the insurance company refused to pay .How the insurance company justifies this withholding of a claim pay is not right. The place is NOT in a flood plain and thus, " flood insurance" is not required. I hope the owner will perhaps run this issue past a lawyer who deals in such matters specifically; a general practicing lawyer who takes all sorts of cases, to keep his lights on, would not be a good choice.

The young lady waiting tables needs to check on customers more than once. Twice we have been here and twice her and the cook stood around talking.

Restaurant prices are high. FYI, those nice little Amish rugs cost $50. They are about 2' X 4'. Not complaining, just informing.
The food was good but the place was like a meat locker.I asked the server 3 times to turn the ac off or up but she refused.Said the employees in the kitchen get too hot.So the employees are more important than the customers. So if you go there wear pants not shorts and bring a jacket to eat with.
fries are hard not burnt just naturally hard. restaurant is cold. food is decent probably depending on what you get.
