This is an awesome little gem if you're on the road through St Joseph Minnesota. It's a quintessential Minnesota diner that gives you the experience of a small town with really good food and, great conversation.

Great place to have breakfast. I wish they had other options besides pork sausage for the buffet!

Cozy little diner with a great atmosphere. Great service. The chicken fried steak breakfast was amazing. Prices were great. Just an all around small town diner that becomes your place to stop when passing thru.

Solid diner experience! This place came recommended by a woman in town for home cooked food and casual atmosphere. Very large menu of breakfast and lunch options. Our table ordered French toast, pancakes, corned beef hash, and all were very good! They had a list of about 15 pies and caramel rolls that seemed very popular. We were too full from our meal to get dessert though, but I'd go back just for that! Our waitress was very nice and attentive as well!

I typically love Kay’s, but was very disappointed in my to-go lunch today - balsamic chicken wrap & broccoli salad. Chicken was so tough and fatty it was inedible and more spinach stems than leaves, with almost zero tomatoes. Salad looked and tasted like it was a week old. Very sad - hope this is not an ongoing trend.

This is just the perfect small town diner. It's been around for over 50 years! The food is fabulous and the staff is great! I had the Minnesota Burger. It has wild rice, mushrooms and cheese. My side was the sweet potato fries. DELICIOUS!!!! Also, they have tons of homemade pies! Support this family owned business. You won't be disappointed.

Eaten here before when l visit MN had a group of my family celebrating birthdays. I ordered biscuits and gravy l sent it back. The sausage meat was actually cold and the gravy was barely warm. The biscuits tasted old so disappointing l was hungry and left hungry l couldn't eat it ?.
