Great atmosphere & top-notch wait staff. Had key lime pie for dessert. BEST I've ever had.
The food is excellent and I appreciate the unique menu. The service was great. The only complaint is the size of the tables, they are way too small. My husband and I each ordered two dishes and we couldn't fit them all on our small table. We also felt very close in proximity to the other customers. I think maybe they are just limited on space but I did find it interfered with the atmosphere.

I am so grateful this place exists. The taste is true to New Orleans and the quality is beyond comparison to anyone in the area. Needless to say, this restaurant delivers in food, in vibes, and in service. Their culinary team clearly love what they do, and you can taste the heart in every dish. My 2 favorite things to order are the gumbo and the shrimp etouffee. There is SO much flavor, and the etouffee has a delightful kick 🌶️ but truly you won’t go wrong with any of your choices. Cheers!

I visited this past saturday from out of town while I was visiting a friend. Loved the atmosphere and our bartender was wonderful. I had the smoked duck and it was easily the best restaurant meal I've had in a veryyy long time! It was a bit disappointing that my friend recieved her food about 10 min before me but it didnt ruin the experience. Next time I come to MN, I'll definitely be back!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Krewe isn’t just good — it’s memorable.
Some restaurants are good. Krewe is the kind you plan your next visit to before you’ve even paid the bill.
From the moment the plates hit the table, you could tell this kitchen cares. The plating across every dish was dialed in — intentional, balanced, and beautiful without being fussy. Especially that key lime pie. More on that in a second.
The maque choux was a knockout. Creamy sweet corn layered with peppers and herbs, topped with perfectly grilled sausage medallions that had that smoky char that makes you stop mid-bite. The richness of the corn with the depth from the sausage was unreal. Comfort food, yes — but elevated, composed, and confidently executed.
Grandpa’s gumbo tasted like it came with a story. Deep, layered, and built with patience. The broth was rich but clean, not heavy or muddy. Every protein was cooked properly. It had that balance you only get when someone knows exactly what they’re doing. This wasn’t “inspired by” New Orleans — it felt rooted in it.
The French onion soup was good, but it was the one dish that didn’t quite hit the same level as the rest. The broth had solid flavor, but the cheese, while broiled, leaned more firm than gooey, and the bread was cut a bit too large to get a perfect spoonful. Still enjoyable — just not as seamless as the other dishes.
Now the key lime pie. This is where Krewe flexes. The plating alone was gorgeous — tall, clean slice, flaky crust, fresh whipped cream, lime zest, thoughtful detail on the plate. The crust being flaky instead of graham made it feel refined. The filling was silky, bright, and balanced — tart but not sharp, sweet but not heavy. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you rethink ordering “just a bite.”
Krewe feels intentional. It feels personal. It feels like a kitchen that respects tradition but isn’t stuck in it.
We’ll absolutely be back — and we’ll be bringing people with us.

What a gem! A super good old fashioned, fresh oysters, etoufeee had the perfect flavor and bit of crunch, every thing we ate was really good. Bread pudding was a perfect finishing touch. Delicious Food. Chef came out to visit. Service was welcoming, friendly, engaging and timely. Thank you to the Krewe for a memorable experience.

Went here for the first time with my family for lunch I had the red beans and rice which was so delicious and flavorful. My wife had jambalaya which she loved and assorted sides that were also very good. Very clean restaurant with friendly staff my wife and I will be going back soon.

Disappointed at our experience here. Lack of staff and food missing it's mark on every dish.
Seafood gumbo was rubbery and thin. Rice overcooked mush.
Red beans and rice way too sweet and has no depth of flavor like original Creole made with pork.
The cocktails we ordered never arrived. After we were finished trying to eat , the server informed us they didn't have the ingredients to make them . She had never checked on us during our meal, nor refilled our water glasses. Got charged for cocktails anyway. Owner had bad attitude when we brought this to his attention.

We made a reservation at 7pm on 01/03 and showed up at 6:50pm to wait for our table. We were informed that they didn't schedule their kitchen staff correctly and were needing to wait until 7:10 before they could seat anyone and they told us to leave and they would call us when they are ready for us. There was no text or phone call saying our reservation couldn't be met either. We waited until 7:11pm to hear from them and called. No one answered so we were forced to find a different restaurant to go to where we were able to get a seat thankfully! I received a call at 7:21pm saying they FINALLY had a seat for us. If you that reservations, you should be able to schedule your staff correctly or at the very least notify the people who reserved a spot that they wouldn't be able to keep their reservation.
