G Allen's Restaurant and Sports Bar

Typical sport bar, nice staff, good atmosphere, and everything I've had has been really good. I'm working in town, and I stop here about once a week.

We entered the building and it was spacious with a sports bar atmosphere. Liz greeted us at the bar and tapped us a beer. She offered menus and meal suggestions. She changed the TV so we could watch the Stanley Cup game. Soup was great and tater tots were plenty for the price. My buffalo chicken wrap was excellent with lots of fries. Sauces were a bit pricy compared to other places, but flavorful. Liz made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed the experience.

Lots of room and good food

Went here last night for a few drinks. The bartender appeared to have had a few drinks himself. We ordered vodka tonics, which were fine, but then when we asked for a second round, the bartender grabbed the glasses we were drinking out of and refilled them. Not only did he touch the rim of the glass, but I'm pretty sure his finger went into one of them. I've never seen that before, gross. Won't be going here again.

I suggested G Allen's today for lunch with a co worker. Last time I ate there it was good. NOT TODAY, we both ended up throwing our food away. We ordered wraps, there was barely any chicken in either wrap and the whole bottom of the wrap was just lettuce. The fries were soggy and barley warm. What a disappointment. I'm embarrassed for recommending this place!

Haven't been here in 15 years so last night I was staying at the Americ Inn and decided to walk over for dinner. Service was terrible and the food was awful too. Seemed like a decent place to watch sports and have beers and play pull tabs but the food was absolutely terrible best thing was my side salad

Had a goodbye party (35-40 people) for a coworker and there was only 1 server who was clearly overwhelmed but was a rockstar nonetheless.
My wife and I only had the pork nachos which were subpar but the drinks were very good.
It’s not fair to base a restaurant on one experience and a plate of nachos but after hearing several friends tell of the good food, I was surprised.
