First time here, Riverboat Depot you nailed it! Arrived at 6:45sh on a Saturday night to avoid a dinner rush. Cute place, well layed out, and beautifully decorated for Christmas. My husband and I don't go out to eat much anymore because the food and service always sucks, not here. Anna was an awesome server. Nice, outgoing, and funny. We didnt have to wait for anything; greeted and drinks right away, food took only 10 minutes. Didn't have to wait at all for a second drink, a huge plus. She did not hover or bother us but was visible if we did need anything. Able to get and pay bill immediately which is also a huge huge plus for us. Kitchen rocks too!! 10 minutes to get our order? Wow. Burger and fries were great and what might not be a big deal to some, but on a what i think was a homemade bun and TOASTED bun. Butterflied shrimp basket was very good too, waffle fries yum. We will definitely be back. My only suggestion to Riverboat would be: your reviews rave about your soup; maybe post them daily on your FB so people know prior what it is.

I stopped into River Boat Depot in Sartell with a friend not long after I moved to the area, just looking to grab a drink — and I’m really glad I did. Even though I didn’t get food that day, I’ve heard plenty of great things about their menu from locals, and after being there, I can absolutely see why people love this place.
The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a small-town bar in the best possible way: comfortable, welcoming, and full of character. The staff made a great first impression — friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to without ever feeling pushy. Even the other customers added to the vibe. It felt like the kind of spot where everyone knows each other, but newcomers are still welcomed right in.
It’s the kind of bar that makes you feel at home the moment you walk through the door, and I enjoyed every bit of my visit. I’ll definitely be back, and next time I’m trying the food.

My family had a wonderful experience! We had a battleship burger, BBQ chicken wings, and a grilled cheese with fries. They were all delicious. Also, we didn't have to wait for a long time to get our food. The server was kind and friendly. We'll definitely come back!

From the window I could see the Mighty Mississippi. You can eat outside or inside. Fish and onion rings were a hit. Huge portions to satisfy. Wait staff was excellent.

We came for the Sunday Beer Cheese soup and it wasn't available. Still had great food but we will definately be calling ahead next time to make sure the Beer Cheese soup is available.

I always believed this was a fine dining place. Stopped with a friend just out of hospital in a wheelchair so we Sat on patio. A woman who didn't look up, dropped menus down turn and spoke as she walked away. She remained a bit salty, explaining that she was waitress, cook and bartender that day. At the end of the day, the service was quick although we felt we were intruding, the food was mediocre but the view was wonderful. This place has such potential. It's a shame more isn't being done.
Best food in the area! Very humble atmosphere, bartenders, and servers! Also the soup here is out of sight. There is always a good daily meal and soup special.

Great service and food, the atmosphere is a bit dive bar though. It wouldn't take much to clean up the atmosphere a bit. They have a patio on the riverside which is great, but they still are not fully capitalizing on the great river views!

We were a party of 12 that called ahead. Service was scattered and chaotic with our server. Asked for the special, and was told to read the sign. Ouch. Food was pretty ok, but the potato skins aren’t actually potato skins. Just frozen potato wedges with cheese and bacon. The smoking area smell outside leaks into the restaurant.
