I always believed this was a fine dining place. Stopped with a friend just out of hospital in a wheelchair so we Sat on patio. A woman who didn't look up, dropped menus down turn and spoke as she walked away. She remained a bit salty, explaining that she was waitress, cook and bartender that day. Great service and food, the atmosphere is a bit dive bar though. It wouldn't take much to clean up the atmosphere a bit. They have a patio on the riverside which is great, but they still are not fully capitalizing on the great river views!
We had a cheese burger and a chicken sandwich. Both decent sandwiches but not strong in flavor. The onion rings were the stars tho and the tots a solid crispy tater side. There is a screened area right next to the main entrance from the parking lot and there was a lot of smoking in there when we got there... We didn't care for walking through smoke just to get in. Waitress was great, friendly and attentive. Overall an ok experience, we would go back and give it a second try.
