I love Bear Trap! The drinks are good (and cheap), the food is great, and most of the people I met are really nice. Make sure you bring cash. They DO NOT ACCEPT any form of electronic payment. There is an atm if you forget. If you ever drive thru Sauk Centre, MN, make sure you stop here and ask for Nick. Tell him crawfish are amazing and he'll know who sent you ?
This is a go to place for me. Been in the area about a year and I go here to relax! Sometimes service can be under staffed, but that's typically only when getting an unexpected rush. Normally it's very good and they have been increasing staff. Great bar food and drinks. Love the welcoming locals that say hi when I walk in!
Kid-friendliness: Customers give my kids money for the digging machine. They like going there.
