Have been playing Greystone for 3+ years. Greens are true and roll well, hold approach shots and have many undulations. Tees are fairly flat but the grass is a bit too long on them. Fairways are mostly well defined and the bent grass is about the right height. This course is generally underplayed and 3 hour rounds are not unusual. The style of the course is links like. Water comes into play on the approach to #3, 5, and 9 which has a mostly dry ditch down the right tee shot. #10...
Great links play with a few in the woods.
Carts are decent, gas, USB charger, rain cover for clubs. No GPS or club/ball wash
Beautiful views and inviting fairways with a few difficult blind doglegs. Plenty of chances for a hole in one and well kept rough
Well kept from tee to green. The greens were in amazing shape aside from a pitch mark here and there.
Range was good and the practice green has lots of slope...

I mostly play down in the SE part of MN around the red wing area. This is a great course. I loved the links layout. Tee boxes were good but the fairways and greens ran true. Cannot bet this course for the price. Played just as nice as The Jewel and MN National but no bugs…the only thing I would say is trim down the thistles in the hazards/ super rough and plant some native grass and lupine to choke them out. It’ll look amazing you wouldn’t have to worry about maintenance...
