“Best Mexican food around!”

“Recently I had made a post in our local community groups inquiring about somewhere that could make us a Gluten Free cake. Our 3rd child passed away in August of 2019 and we have a tradition to celebrate his birthday with a cake, like we would with our living children. A lot of the community was so kind with lots of really great suggestions. Out of all the suggestions, Mixin it up Bakery was the most commented. Before I even got a chance to inquire, the sweet ladies at Mixin it up offered to gift us a beautiful cake to celebrate our son. Not only was the cake absolutely delicious, but beautifully crafted. My family really enjoyed it and it helped make a really tough day a little bit sweeter. Thank you Mixin it up Bakery for your generosity and care in doing this for us. We are beyond grateful and will be life long customers. I am looking forward to ordering cakes for my other children in the future.”

Parking: Plenty of stalls usually. If there's a particularly good discount on a Friday, it could be a challenge right after work.

Wheelchair accessibility: No power doors, but very gentle ramp from the parking lot & other customers are always kind & hold doors each other”

“This VFW has become our go to Bingo bar on Monday nights. We love this place, the food, the people, etc. Only gets 4 stars instead of 5 bc they charge for REFILLS of soda from the gun. Thats a horrible business practice. I dont know if they are told to or if the wait staff is just doing it on their own. On top of the charge for refills, the glasses they give you are half the size of any other place I have ever been.”

“I like to my kids here on lunch every now and then for a tasty sub and flatbread. This location is always clean and inviting. I like visiting during the day because the person who works does a wonderful job making our favorite sandwiches!I also enjoy that they have ambient radio playing but it’s not overpowering or loud like other restaurants”

“My partner got the Hot Cheetos Preparados and a large Horchata to drink. I got Doritos with Nacho Cheese and Jalapeño’s with a large Strawberry Agua de Fresa for a drink. We shared a large cup of elote and the Sour Blue Raspberry Gushers. The food portions and prices are great! The staff were very friendly and fast. All of the food was so tasty! The ice cream and popsicles looked delicious. We will definitely be back for more food and ice cream treats to put in our freezer! Thank you for excellent service and delicious food.”

The cleanliness of the place was really good. I gave them 5 stars for everything. We are in our late seventies and don’t impress easily.”
