So good! The cake we ordered was absolutely beautiful and my daughter loved it! So yummy!

It's fun to be able to shop at a bakery knowing the foods are gluten free. That was an experience my kids and I missed out on for a long time before Mixin It Up.

The owner is super understanding, professional, and very sweet.

All products are super delicious. I absolutely recommend the muffins!!! My favorite is the double chocolate chip!!!
(Their sandwich bread is also one of my favorite bakery goods from this place)

They take great care of their customers here; im definitely going to be a regular forever

Such a fantastic dedicated GF facility! Great baked goods, owner is so customer service oriented ABD the food is great! I drive 4.5 hours to enjoy their baked goods and the special events of fried cheese curds and fresh mini donuts

Cute cozy shop , convenient location. The yummiest banana bread and cinnamon rolls! Amazing Macrons. Everything is safely gluten free!

This is a great gluten free bakery!! Wonderful variety, and everything we have tried has been outstanding! Very friendly staff as well. Even though we live an hour away, we make regular trips…completely worth it!

I’ve intended to write this review for some time but have been busy with school. I usually almost never review things but my experience at this place was so poor that I am inclined to share with others.

A few months ago (mid-September), I ordered a custom-made cake from this bakery to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday (order was made TWO WEEKS before the birthday), specifically requesting certain designs and details that I was excited to see. Despite the high quote of $85 for a fairly simple design, I trusted their expertise. However, when I arrived to pick up the cake ON THE DAY of his birthday, I was extremely disappointed—the size was different from what I ordered, and the designs I’d requested were missing entirely.

When I calmly voiced my concerns to a skinnier blonde woman at the front counter, I was met with an unexpectedly unprofessional response. Instead of listening or addressing my concerns, she dismissed them with rude remarks, acting as if I was the one being unreasonable when it was their mistake. Their initial offer of a $5–$15 refund felt insulting given the amount I’d paid and the poor quality of service.

Thankfully, an older employee stepped in and suggested offering me some older cupcakes as compensation, which was at least a genuine attempt to make amends. Unfortunately, the blonde employee continued her condescending behavior, even beckoning me with her pointer finger—a gesture that came off as disrespectful and demeaning. Her attitude left me feeling that racial bias may have played a role, as the experience felt particularly dismissive and belittling toward me as a person of color.

In conclusion, I would not recommend this bakery to anyone who values respectful and professional customer service—especially fellow people of color, as my experience raised concerns about underlying biases from certain staff members. If I could rate this place a zero, I certainly would.

**Placed my holiday preorder with Jessi, the owner, she was the sweetest person, we cannot wait to pick up our goodies!!**

Called to inquire on holiday offerings and was met with such a sweet associate that went above and beyond answering my questions and informing me of their processes. We are having a thanksgiving and a family member is gluten free but from an area that doesn’t offer many specialty things. We are looking forward to placing an order for Thanksgiving!

Great local place with awesome options for the gluten free gang! Super nice and helpful staff. Pumpkin pies are delicious this time of year, plus my boyfriend always picks up a variety of bars/cupcakes for me for special occasions - so nice to have these options available so close!!
