Not normally one to leave reviews much, unfortunately we did not end up going at all but perhaps that’s for the best. Called to see how long the wait might be for lunch on Valentine’s Day, which I understand is probably a stressful day as I’ve worked in restaurants. I was friendly but immediately met with a rude rant about how she’s not going to give a time, has to talk to other customers, it might be busy it might not be, it’s Valentine’s Day, I can’t expect her to give me a time etc. at first I was like hey that’s ok I was just trying to see, I understand, and she continued to be rude and rant so I said ok thank you and hung up. Based off other reviews it doesn’t appear I’m the only one to be met with rude service just trying to see if there’s a table. She won’t have to talk to us again!

We had some server name Wendy. We have been here many time and usually service is good but this time the service wasn’t the best. She barely talked to us. She didnt Once smiled at us. When we would liked to order more she would come and just stand by the table not saying anything. The food was decent.

Came in for Dinner tonight and found a huge hair in my California rolls. We ordered à la carte and were with a group. The group we were with had all you can eat and my wife picks off two pieces of sushi from their tray to try it.

They charged us for a full all you can eat at $33 for her to have picked it 3-4 pieces from the tray the other group had. The waitress gave us an attitude the entire night and we ended up having to complain to management.

Management, for what it’s worth, made the situation better and didn’t end up charging us for the all you can eat for those couple of pieces. But realistically we never should have reached this point.

Update, as we’re still here after writing. Management has made sure to check in with us multiple times after the fact and made the end experience better than where it started. We very much appreciate her after the experience but still aren’t generally thrilled.

Ordered 3 different rolls. In my experience after several other sushi places. The rolls were really bland, wasabi was weak and bland. Cheaper price, but taste was not for me.

Best sushi within its price range! This is our go to sushi spot. We tried other places within this price range and often disappointed.

The typical post-Covid era sushi place. Nothing bad, but nothing particularly memorable either.

Overall it was pretty good for an ayce sushi place, though the sushi rice is slightly undercooked/dry.

Kyoto was a great experience. The staff were friendly and non judgmental. All of the food was delicious and made fresh. They had a decent amount of selections for the all you can eat. The restaurant was clean and nice looking. Overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend a try.

Returned to this location after an over-year-long break, hoping beyond hope that this time I would be able to leave with a positive experience from this restaurant. Unfortunately, I was left dissatisfied with the quality of the food for the price and disappointed with the service provided by the wait staff. Every time I have attempted to create a positive memory with this restaurant, I am increasingly let down by how low the standards are allowed to slip. After this last experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend it to others. There are a number of other local eateries in the area that would offer you much better quality, value, and service for your money.

We have been going here since it opened in Savage. We spent many years in Japan and enjoy the food. This was our go to for special events, birthday, anniversary etc. Unfortunately the last 3 times we have gone here the food has been subpar to say the least. The service has gone downhill also. The last time we when we were served cold shrimp tempura. The server made mistakes every time we ordered a round. We had to turn sushi away as the smell of the fish was a dead giveaway not to eat it. We loved going here but after 3 really bad trips. The product really started going down about 2 years ago and continues. At 32.00 ea for all you can eat you expect more. Sadly we will not be returning to what used to be our favorite restaurant.

We like this sushi buffet with fresh - hot foods serviced, you won’t be disappointed with your orders, I love their shrimp/squid tempura. Good service as well, foods come fast. We have been eaten this location for years.
