Very nice bar and grill in the downtown area. Lots and lots of seating plus a bar complete with many beer choices, pool tables and lots of fun. Our server Kaili H. was very sweet and very nice. She did have quite a larger party to deal with but I did finally catch her when it had been 30 minutes and our food had not come out. We only ordered the pork sandwiches, one with mashed potatoes and gravy and the other with coleslaw so this was an item that certainly could have been ready in a few minutes. We did mention to her when she finally brought out our order but she didn't have any response. I can only assume that the kitchen did not have the meat prepared in advance as when we were there for that one hour plus the restaurant did not have more parties than 8 or 10 at the most in the dining room. We would definitely try out this place again if we were in the area. Thank you.

Turtles has been our Friday night and sometimes second night carry out during Covid. Each item we normally order has fallen off in quality and content. Last night's Chef's Salad. It used to be a nice build of crisp veggies and 3 small containers of dressing on the side. Then down to 2 containers. Now down to one. The hardboiled egg, no more. The veggies were counted out 3 really thin slices each as a garnish on top of a pile of soft shredded cheese. Bread sticks? Nope those are gone too. The walleye sandwiches were great, light flakey. Now over cooked and dry. The Rueben? Stacked high and full of dressing. Now less sauerkraut and one had so little dressing I had to lift the bread to see it. That makes a real dry sandwich to eat. Used to open the box to a pile of tater tots, now some nights just enough to cover the bottom of the box. Like losing an old friend. I am looking for a new Friday night go to.

I ordered to go due to covid. They have limited indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is under a tent like you would see at a wedding. There are various parking options near by. I ordered the walleye sandwich and it was very good. The fish filled the entire bun and was well prepared and tasty. I unchanged for a salad that was crisp and colorful. My least favorite was the fried pickle coins. They had good flavor but I would have liked them to be crisper.

Sexist rude inappropriate bouncer. Picking and choosing which girls to let use the loo and miming shoving a cork in my mouth when I asked how long the wait was. An apology would have sorted it but instead my friend and I were just continually shouted over and told how wrong we were. Will not be returning, Stag’s got a better atmosphere and the bouncers aren’t misogynists.

Ate there yesterday, ordered a fish sandwich, fries and we had pickle chips for a appetizer,my husband had a burger and fries.pickle chips were very soggy and so were the fries, sent fries back and they were still very soggy.took a bite of my fish and the fish fell out of the breading.will not be going back there for a long time! For 52.00 dollars I expect the food to be better then that.

Turtles always has good food, but I was not impressed with there corned beef and cabbage dinner this year for St. Patrick's day! The cabbage was not cook very well, it was so hard I could barely cut it with my knife. At one point my cabbage slipped off my plate on to the floor when I tried to cut it. The corned beef was very fatty and very dried out. I have had it in the past where it was so tender and juicy and really good, but not this time!! The potatoes and carrots were good. Now I'm not sure if I will be going there next year for St. Patrick's day! I would like to but I'm afraid I'll have the same experience again. We'll see!!
