Very nice bar and grill in the downtown area. Lots and lots of seating plus a bar complete with many beer choices, pool tables and lots of fun. Our server Kaili H. was very sweet and very nice. She did have quite a larger party to deal with but I did finally catch her when it had been 30 minutes and our food had not come out. We only ordered the pork sandwiches, one with mashed potatoes and gravy and the other with coleslaw so this was an item that certainly could have been ready...
I ordered to go due to covid. They have limited indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area is under a tent like you would see at a wedding. There are various parking options near by. I ordered the walleye sandwich and it was very good. The fish filled the entire bun and was well prepared and tasty. I unchanged for a salad that was crisp and colorful. My least favorite was the fried pickle coins. They had good flavor but I would have liked them to be crisper.
Turtles always has good food, but I was not impressed with there corned beef and cabbage dinner this year for St. Patrick's day! The cabbage was not cook very well, it was so hard I could barely cut it with my knife. At one point my cabbage slipped off my plate on to the floor when I tried to cut it. The corned beef was very fatty and very dried out. I have had it in the past where it was so tender and juicy and really good, but not this time!! The potatoes and carrots were...
