As several reviews pointed out, this is a very nice brewery. The Irish Stout I had was well made, and I would recommend. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The space is cut up, making it feel crowded. The one pinball game they had was broken. All in all, it's a nice place with good drinks and a nice atmosphere.

I would not recommend eating at the restaurant next door. Some reviewers confuse them as one business, but they are not.

Good beer, friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend the In Bruges (Belgian Strong)

Badger Hill Brewing is a nice brewery/restaurant in Shakopee. They have a nice big bar with plenty of friendly servers and a full menu. They had 16 beers on tap for my stop including a American lager, mexican lager, PBW IPA, IPA, West coast IPA, pale ale, 2 hazy IPAs, fruited sour, pineapple tart, maple oatmeal stout, milk stout, porter, scotch ale, red ale, and a Belgian strong. Lager was pretty busy on my stop but included had no issue finding a stop at the bar. This is worth a stop if you are in the area.

Best tasting beer around. Great atmosphere

The beer was good but the atmosphere was horrible. They had a band that was so loud we couldn’t talk. We came to the brewery to check out the beers and catch up with friends, not to go to a concert. By 9pm, the brewery had about 15 patrons remaining. I’m not surprised the place cleared out, it was just too much. It should be background music. And according to their calendar, they have a musical act every night so until they change that, none of us will be back.

I really like their beers and was looking forward to my first visit to catch up with friends. The beer did not disappoint, as expected. But the music was so loud it really made conversation difficult. We finally were able to get far enough away from the band to make it tolerable. The place is small enough where amps aren't needed (or advisable).

Badger hills new space is awesome & transitions so well between coffee shop in the AM to brewery in the PM. I love their coffee menu, however it would be nice to have other milk options (I think it was whole, skim, or almond?). All of their tables are large & good for work or board games. Having Bravis next door with a pickup window makes grabbing a bite to eat easy. For gluten free brewery options, they use a seltzer base kind of thing to make cocktails.

My only negative review is that there are so, so many flies. We didn’t have food around but had no less than 15 flies swarming us the whole morning

Come and see my guy Tom at Badger Hill. Ask for the Octoberfest and the Turbo Lover. Can't go wrong!

Great beer, friendly staff, beautiful building, what's not to love!

Not a bad brew in the house... Edit. Beers are still great. Service has taken a serious plunge. Brew tenders don't engage at all. Spend alot of time walking around looking busy. Not a single smile. Great place to go for a beer if you want zero interaction with the brew tender. Dawson and Dan aren't here enough to make up for the other boring brew tenders. Edit #2. Service sucks. Grabbed our empty glasses and walked away. Been coming to Badger Hill for 7 1/2 years and it has never been bad. Will find it hard to return. Zero tip day.

Update. 8-2-24 much improved. Badger is back

The music was fabulous (Ashes for April)! The beer was great, and the crowd was very energetic. My only gripe is that acoustics in the room could use some attention!
