We stopped here in August of 2025 and were appalled by the situation in the bathrooms and the drink stations. There were two gentlemen working who didn’t appear to have any idea what they were doing. However, we stopped today (November 2025) and were very pleasantly surprised to find a spotless store with clean bathrooms and food/drink stations stocked and well organized. The young lady at the counter was holding down the fort very well. She deserves a raise for whipping this place into shape!

The steak dinner on Thursdays taste good but the steak ,mashed potatoes and corn were cold this is the second time this happens . I ask the person that serves if i could get it hot and he said they just came out,but when I took my first bite it was cold.Not happy.

Update for 6/17/2025: Well, it seems as though HyVee has finally laid waste to the venerable Market Grille. Those slum lord Wahlbergers definitely left their mark when they pulled out. This place still has the same stupid setup from before of ordering at the counter, no wait staff, a shotty drink dispenser, no supplies for the coffee, etc. The food portions were descent, taste like garbage, over salted, and peppered. We should have taken it as a sign that there were no elderly persons in this place for breakfast...meaning that this place sucks. Save yourself some time and a stomach ache and avoid this place. It's just not worth the trip. Very disappointing.

Thank Jupiter's Cock, Hy-Vee finally got rid of that garbage dump Wahlburgers. Hopefully the market grille will return to its previous glory and not carry over the shoddy service and poor quality food that made Wahlburgers an abomination. Time will tell. Three stars just for kicking Wahlburgers to the curb. Suck it Donny.

****update 8/13/24 **** Here’s the Hy-Vee problem solving method. Respond on comments asking people to please reach out to their customer care email. If you waste your time emailing them you will be told that someone else from the store will contact you. Maybe that person will know somebody that gives a dam. ****************** I downloaded the Hy-Vee app as recommended by a Hy-Vee employee. I used it to place a prescription refill. I was able to select a date and time to pick up my order. The order was placed on Saturday, for a Monday pickup. I arrived at the designated time and was told that they could/would not fill the prescription. There was NO COMMUNICATION from Hy-Vee that they couldn't/wouldn't do what they said they would. So I wasted a lot of time and gas on something that could have been avoided with a simple email or phone call. This pharmacy has also given me other people's prescriptions in the past, as well as charged me for items that have a zero copay. If you have any other options to use other than this place, it would have to be a better choice and experience in my opinion.

Cameron is an amazing employee! I called in this morning because I had left a bag overnight I forgot to grab. Him and Laura’s (F) I believe were so great!! Nothing like being greeted with a smile and beyond helpful. Thank you for having a great morning staff!!!

The only thing good about this place is $3 beers at the bar for happy hour. Most of the food is very disappointing, I think the whalbergs made a mistake partnering with Hy-Vee. A lot of locations don't have servers anymore either. Not to sure who's responsible for the new design, but they definitely dragged this restaurant down. This rating is not specifically targeted for this location. This location is actually one of the better ones I've seen. Just to make it clear, I'm disappointed with Market grill as a whole, not just this specific location.

I have given Shakopee Hy-Vee many chances. I’ve received the wrong Aisles on line order, ordered an Easter meal and was given the wrong order, gone in only to notice the hibachi grills were closed on multiple occasions and today tipped me over the edge. I went there esp for the Hibachi and there was an employee making a meal for another customer The employee told me the hibachi grill was closing and to come back in 20 min. When I asked him if 5:30 was ok to come back he said no that the employee called in sick. Well he was clearly making a meal for someone so frustrating. Went to Savage Hy-vee and had a great experience…guess I’ll be going there from now on.
