I got 8 Free pieces of chicken when I Spend over 15 dollars. It was so dried out it must have been a week Old. Free chicken is a great idea, trying to win people back to their restaurants but it won't work if you don't serve them a good product.

I have always liked KFC but have found their food in recent years to be less than stellar, and have eaten at one of their restaurants from maybe once every few months to less than once a year.
Nevertheless, I found myself in Shakopee with extra time on my hands, so decided to give this particular establishment a try. Much to my delight, the entire food order was perfect. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty, the employees were very pleasant and the restaurant was clean and appealing.
Not sure if I just got them on a good day or not, but I would not hesitate to eat here again. Definitely a very nice surprise. Sincerely hope they can keep this up. A+

Where has the food gone? The mac and cheese Korean bowl was hardly anything in it and only had 4 pieces of meat on the regular KFC bowl. At least give us what we paid for!!

Order the crispy chicken sandwich meal. The chicken didn’t even have breading on it. Was asked if I wanted fri, i answered yes and still was giving mashed potatoes and gravy

As KFC becomes a less favorite location to inhabit as time goes on, I see why. Good help is hard to find.

On this particular visit I did my usual chicken strips combo, which usually is pretty amazing when done right. Mashed (box) potatoes/gravy, biscuit, corn, tender chicken with honey bbq and a Dr. Pepper. What more does a guy need? Oxygen? Love? A job? Those all pale with quality food.

This trip, a shite sandwich would have endured to what I was served. It's like they made the food hours before and nobody showed up so they kept it until someone bought it, no matter what the timeframe. Ugh! Guess who won the 'Eat it and See What Happens' challenge? Yours truly.

While I loved long enough to write this review is nothing short of a miracle. I feel like a new age superman. As a gen X, I've had to endure lots of bad things. This visit topped them all.

Besides the stale and rubberized chicken 'tenders' and the gravy absorbed potatoes and the bland corn, the only thing that was passable was the prepackaged Honey BBQ sauce and the Dr. Pepper.

I normally don't let things slide, but you have to know when to fight your battles. The employees that day were not the caliber you saw in the 80s with their paper hats and pearl drop white smiles, but people that possibly walked in to eat and never went home. You think I'm kidding? I just shut up and said the food sucked as I ran out the door for my safety.

The guy sweeping the floor said I could've come up and asked for a replacement (as I pointed out big chunks on the floor I almost tripped over on my way out). Now if I did that, this review would have no comic value. But I digress. I left and felt pretty crappy the rest of the night.

I don't know what happened, but KFC is falling faster than a Russian spacecraft back to earth. It takes an effort and people that know food to make things strive. Without that chemistry and passion, things fall apart in everything in life. Just ask grandma. She probably knew The Colonel.

Side note: I never realised' colon' in the word Colonel before. Makes sense now...
