Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-notch. The food was beyond amazing—every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. But the real star of the night was Mason, our bartender. He went above and beyond, crafting delicious drinks with precision and personality. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the experience even better. If you’re looking for great food, outstanding service, and an unforgettable time, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

We went at a weird time (2:30 pm) and we were the only ones there for a while. I got the mallards melt with fries and it was very good. I did it without the aioli because I don't do spicy at all. The tomato bacon jam was so good. Also the daily bread had phenomenal honey butter with it. The elote fritters were also good! I wasn't super fond of the crab dip, but it just might not be my taste. Service was great as well. I will go back!

Mallards is immediately my new favorite place now that I live at Shakopee Flats, the apartment complex that is attached. The food is absolutely amazing and I have tried almost the whole menu at this point. A few of my favorites include the Korean meatballs, the jambalaya, and the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich. I highly reccomend taking a look at the cocktail menu as well. The staff is great too, always super inviting and fun to chat with at the bar! 5/5 stars

The staff is great and the food was awesome. Service was quick even though it was pretty busy for a Monday evening. Our server Juan was fantastic and super helpful.
The kids menu is simple and was easy for kids to understand.
We'll definitely be coming back again!

Mallards have always provided great food and service at a great price. They'll also give you a very good desert on your birthday. I always recommend them to my friends and family.

This was a nice find! Many delicious seafood dishes. I had the Barramundi Rodrigo and it was cooked perfectly. I wish the dish came with some veggies, but otherwise the coconut risotto was a lovely dairy-free option and I would certainly come back to this place again!
Dietary restrictions: For those who are dairy-free or no lactose, they have a coconut risotto that is nice!

The food at Mallards is absolutely amazing. Best and only seafood restaurant in Shakopee. Drinks are great and the staff is very friendly. Definitely one of my favorite spots.

Disrespectful management and staff, unprofessional host who speaks loudly and rudely about guests, slow food despite empty restaurant. Staffed with people who have short man syndrome.
Stellar service, but the brunch food is forgettable. Their Mexican civiche was mostly tomatoes with not much seafood and very expensive. The eggs were cold and probably the saddest hash browns I’ve ever been served. No crisp to be seen just mushy. The bread was a redeeming quality, it was toasted with care, but the experience overall didn’t seem to justify fine dining prices. If only the food could match the server’s charm this might be Michelin star. Until then I’ll get breakfast somewhere else.
