Great spot for a business dinner in Shakopee. Food was great. I had wings and a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich that were delicious. Whiskey Old Fashion was great too. Service on a Tuesday night was quick and server was thorough and attentive. Will be returning for future business dinners.

Unfortunately, the server was inattentive; but she's young and we can understand that. But outside of the appetizer (corn fritters) the food was not good. My steak was blackened on the outside and the mashed potatoes and green beans were ice cold. Cooking a ribeye is tricky sometimes, the rendered fat creates flare ups; I think the cook wasn't paying attention and it was charred. The internal temp was actually pretty good but the meat was very tough. The eating experience was more like a bottom tier sirloin instead of a $50 ribeye. My wife got a salad which was under seasoned and basically a bowl of cabbage. The other folks in our party got fish tacos which tasted fine but the tortillas were so soggy they had to be eaten with a fork.

What a hidden gem. Wanted a central meeting location for dinner and found Mallards online Menu and prices looked great so decided to give it a try. WOW is the first word that comes to mind. The staff was beyond amazing from the moment we walked in, sat down, ate and left. Our waiter was the bartender (Josh) and was the nicest person who answered every question honestly, made recommendations, offered to turn the tv for us to watch, he really was perfect! Food was wonderful too. Shrimp boil amazing, bread basket do tasty, jambalaya perfect and my raspberry lemon martini a perfect drink a warm fall eve. I highly recommend the place and encourage everyone to head there asap!!!!
