The pizza is usually pretty good but occasionally there will be more crust than pizza. I always ask for square cut pizza and it never is anymore (it was in July 2024 but since about August 2024, my pizzas never have square cut even though it's selected every order). Once in a while they throw in a pepper that's the size of a dime or smaller that isn't edible which sucks if you like the pepper.
The brownies are always divine though, and delivery is usually fast and the drivers are usually friendly.

I ordered sausage, peperoni, green olive..the taste was terrible. I could have bought a frozen pizza that taste better. They refunded my money but the manager was being unkind with remarks

I ordered some bbq boneless wings with barely any sauce. Very disappointed because it was my first time eating at Papa Johns. I would not order these again.

Save yourself the headache and go to the Savage location if you can. I've had several issues with this location and the most recent was today (5/30/24). We ordered 2 medium pizzas with cheesey bread. The app said the order was ready so my wife and I went to pick up the food. The 2nd pizza was not ready when my wife went inside and after waiting for 20min, they told my wife they couldn't find the 2nd pizza and would have to start making it. I then went into the restaurant to cancel the order because we could not wait any longer. The staff did not apologize for the mistake nor did they show any empathy. No care for the customer at all. This is not a restaurant I plan to support moving forward.

I would be quite careful and they should send someone down to check on hygiene here from both Papa Johns and from the city. Pizza crafter handled register and then without washing hands went back to food. Also cleaned their ear with finger and handled cheese/toppings. Another was eating meat from the containers while making food. No gloves in the midst of any of this.

1st off… pizza Flavor =Awesome!!!!TASTE SO GOOD! My Wife is Very picky about her Pizza. & SHE LOVES PAPA JOHNS PIZZA, Now!!!!! (she literally said) HER NEW FAVORITE….I had ordered a pizza last week. & the new guy accidentally screwed the order up! Nothing major, just not the crust I wanted. Simple Miss communication. But Damn Called me up…. said he wanted to make it right. And Gave us a large free Pizza! TOTALLY MAKES UP FOR THAT LITTLE MISS COMMUNICATION.THEY GET 100/out of\100 from Us! THANK YOU DAN! Thank you Papa John’s! We will be back for more pizza in the future!

I love Papa John's in Shakopee. They deliver so fast, love our delivery guy, the pizza is always perfect and omg the parmesan garlic wings are the best. Gave it 4 stars because my husband loves buffalo boneless wings but they skimp on the sauce. It's like they dot it on. Gimme sauce man!
