I have given this place 3 chances now and every time the same thing. The food is not cooked properly and yes I have said something trying to be as nice as I could. Nobody cares! You get the typical sorry sir will there be anything else. When this was Perkins we ate there a lot and always had a good meal. Not now this place is a dump and I will never set foot in it again!!
We went to Ruby's for dinner. We found the food to not have very much seasoning. The service was good except when we mentioned we did not like our meal, the server did not acknowledge our feedback on the food. He just walked away. I would not go back to Ruby's.

Normally, Ruby's is great food and fast service. This mornings visit was "not" normal. Maybe internal factors were happening that I couldn't see.

Food, staff and service made our experience awesome. We’ll be back!
I called and someone answered. They said one moment but I was on hold for 22 minutes. I hanged up and called again 4x with no answer at all. I try to call ahead so I don’t have to wait in the restaurant therefore making it to work on time.
Update: I walk in to place an order and I ask the lady why I was on hold for 20 plus minutes. She goes “there’s lots of other places you can try that are not as busy as us” I was just shocked and had to call the manager. Also she mentioned she was the only employee. I counted at least 3.
The manager decided not to charge me after hearing what came out of her mouth. I’m sure she wasn’t happy about that either. I changed the rating from 1 to 3 stars just cause of the manager. He was soo nice. I wish I knew her name but she is bad for business.
I heard great things about this place from my friends and coworkers. But my first experience was not welcoming as an African American woman. No one greeted me and the server was very straight to the point and also did not say hi she was maybe 5 feet away from the table when she spoke to me as if I was sick! I just politely left because it’s 2025 we are all human and this hurts my heart. I tried to wait to tell the server why I was leaving and she just kept walking past me. Let me add, there was a couple that came in after me, they were seated first and their order was taken first they were greeted and treated well trust me I know you all can be welcoming but not to my kind of people. You should address the elephant in the room first, it’s a conversation nobody wants to have but feeling are high when it comes to racism! I think I’d know better to not go there again because for the third time it’s 2025 I shouldn’t have felt an speckle of “I’m not welcome here” even customers looked at me like what am I doing here. Mind you I know many many people of all race through out Minnesota. I can go to waconia and get all the love without feeling like I don’t belong because they have addressed the elephant before. I want everyone to see my review because what I witness and experienced is wrong and you all know deep down inside you take part in not treating people equally. I myself got to experience that.

Our group came here for dinner last night. We really enjoyed our food. The burgers, philly cheese steak and wild rice soup were served hot and delicious. The server was attentive and kind. We'll be back, we want to try their breakfast (served all day) next time.

Amazing food my husband had the hangover burger, he said it was really delicious. I had the ribeye tacos. Sooo good. Highly recommend these.
Great service, we had breakfast, and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality. Above average for a local restaurant and cost is below average. People say that Wampachs (a few blocks away) is great, and we have been there a few times. We tried Ruby's because, in our opinion, Wampachs is highly overrated. We will choose Ruby's over Wampachs any day of the week. Service, food, and atmosphere are all superior!

They play a radio station over the restaurant speakers, which I don't prefer, but otherwise outstanding food and service for a decent price these days.

We stopped in at 715pm and it took 10 minutes to get seated in a fully staffed empty restaurant. We sat for 28 minutes watching wait staff and other employees walk right past us. Flagged down two people and was told just a minute but to no avail. Consistant with other reviews; id say they are trying to drive the business in the ground. They didnt even make an effort to put water on the table.
Avoid! We wont go back.

They forgot our milkshake. And it took 5 minutes just to get napkins and my burger had 0 seasoning. Only one meal was good and it was funnyface pancake and how can you mess up pancakes. The waffle we ordered was cold and overcooked. They were worried more about presentation than the actual taste of the food.
