The food here was fair. Nice to have options but wasn’t blown away by the quality. Their tofu was extremely spongy and had a weird texture.

I wish I would have read the reviews before returning to the Red Ginger. We ordered online and provided specific changes for our order. They ignored all of the changes as we discovered when we got home. When asked upon pickup and received the typical "yah yah" response. That really is disappointing when you are hungry and excided to eat the meal you order only to be upset and disappointed that I spent my hard earned money with a local business that couldn't care less if my order was right . The changes to the order were all captured correctly through the online ordering process. Only for the business to drop the ball. No more, try else where.

I was a regular customer at the Red Ginger. Every Friday I would order house specials fried rice without pork. I paid for extra beef, which I was Duke out of my money for the second time. They served it in a regular container which that was unusual because when you ordered anything extra it comes in a different container. I was very disappointed with Red Ginger. I didn't get my extra beef, it didn't have its regular full shrimp or chicken. Red Ginger will not be getting my business ever again. I rather go to to Annie's wok then to deal with these people again. To me Annie's Wok has the worst fried rice I've ever tasted. Goodbye Red Ginger.

Old food, got sick.

I've been going to Red Ginger for quite some time now and aside from them occasionally being a little busy, its always been great.

On Friday 05/31 I ordered takeout and when we got home and opened it up, all the food clearly smelled off. Somewhere between reheated lettuce and electric smoke. Against my better judgement I ate it anyways and it tasted just like it smelled.

Ive been sick as hell since then, its now Sunday.

After reading other comments im starting to believe they are serving old food that was cooked and packaged days prior. The food I received definitely looked off and was not the same color as it would normally be. ie the sesame chicken is generally a darker orange/red and the chicken I got was a very light almost watered down orange. I also ordered orange chicken which seemed fine for the most part.

Hopfully they stop doing whatever it is thats caused the decline in quality.

Never going back! The server brought out the food swiftly. It tasted like it had been sitting in the refrigerator. Not freshly cooked and that I am certain. They are serving days old food. Beware as it has become the norm for restaurant dining especially here.

Food was plain and no flavor?. Ordered chicken lo mein, Mongolian beef and house special beef chow fun. Both the noodle dish were plain, no flavor. The only flavor dish was the Mongolian beef. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend the place. Rather go to mandrian in Bloomington instead. But no biggie. It’ll be my first n last time going/ordering.

Stick with what is not fried or be prepared for grease flavored food. The chow mein reminded me of being a kid - chock full of celery. Chicken lomein also tasty.

We ordered the Honey Walnut shrimp because others had said it was great. I don't know what they were comparing it to, but.... this might be the worst honey walnut shrimp I've ever had. And I've had plenty. We also had an order of egg rolls which were about as good as frozen egg rolls from the grocery store. Very disappointed in the food! Don't waste your money!
