Awesome sandwich, amazing value. I got the classic turkey, my picture doesn't do it justice, there was more meat than lettuce. Sandwich includes chips... I don't want to say it but I feel like he should raise his prices. Will definitely be back.

Disappointed. Arrived a few minutes before they opened. Heard they don't have lates, so ran to grab my morning late. Walking in the guys said "no outside food or drinks." Ok, totally reasonable policy. I get it. Went to leave the aLates in the car. Just to make sure, I said "you don't have lates right?" Guy very rudely said "yeah, we don't have steaks either." Guess we won't be eating here.Sorry missed the policy on the door. No problem with the policy.And yes, my friend did say "you don't have to be an a**". It was a pretty shocking response to a fairly benign question. We were both taken aback. Some customer service training may be in order.

I ordered the California sandwich it comes with turkey bacon and avocado lettuce and tomato, the comes with chips of your choice, and they had can drinks so I got a coke, everything was fresh and was very tasty,there sandwich guy had skills. Im glad I was I the area and seen it from the street, so I made a quick u turn and parked this place is small but they had plenty of tables to eat in or to take out. They had cold and hot sandwiches and soup of the day , and today was chilly. I didn't get the soup but some other customers got it and it looked good. I would recommend this place if you're in the area.

Great food, large portions. Definitely Arden Hill's best kept secret! It has quickly become the office's favorite lunch spot! The staff is super friendly and attentive. Walking in the door for a pickup order they immediately acknowledge you and check on your order. Then they double check it right in front of you. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved dining here. We came here with kids who loved the soup and sandwich combo. The food was fresh and delicious. The owner is really friendly and the atmosphere is nice and cozy!A special treat was the locally made soda options! We tried coconut cream soda and holiday special cola and both were delicious.

We were visiting from Houston and looking for a place to get lunch on a Monday. This is a lovely little local place to get a sandwich, soup and/or salad. We ordered a soup and half sandwich which included the soup of the day. The flavors were rich and you get plenty of food. Great value and nice quiet atmosphere. Friendly staff that helped us choose from a wide selection of local sodas and chips. Highly recommend! Much better choice than a big chain restaurant.

I have always loved stopping in at The Winkin' Rooster. True definition of a family business. Family owned, family operated, family oriented. The food is fantastic and fresh, and the atmosphere you get to enjoy while you're here is extremely enjoyable. Definitely recommend a stop at this local wonder!
