Delicious fish fry! I got the cod and shrimp dinner and it was amazing! I feel bad giving service a 4/5 stars, she worked her butt off, but there should have been more waiting staff. It was packed and she was slow to return with drinks and food. SHE WAS GREAT but everything took too long due to there only being two women serving the whole restaurant.

We went for dinner on a Friday night and had the fish fry and shrimp with fries. The fish was cod, which was fine, the shrimp were pretty good, and the fries were just ok, but had the taste of oil used to fry the fish. Our waitress was pretty busy, but took care of us (party of 8). The dining are we were seated in had fairly dirty floors in a non traffic area and cobwebs in the corners and along the windows. The table and chairs were clean, but the overall cleanliness of the room needs attention.

For a restaurant that is near to campground, they sure seemed put out to have to wait on us. Locals seemed to be treated better. Our bill was thrown down in front of us, we were charged incorrectly for one item, and didnt feel like we could ask about the error. Then, as we left we said thank you.....no response or acknowledgment. We wouldnt go back again.

We always stop here when visiting friends in Side Lake. Awesome restaurant, fun interior and it doesn't break the bank when eating here. Breakfast buffet is great. Awesome Carmel rolls and egg bake.I'd definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice place to relax when you're up north
