Not sure why this place needs the music so loud that you can hear it across the lake at the state park. Since this isn't the first review mentioning this, they also don't seem to care to do anything about the excessive noise which is why I'm posting the negative review. I'm sure they could try to adjust the volume so at the very least only the bass would reach the state park campgrounds. It's disappointing.

I ordered a kraut sandwich with a GF bun as the menu said was offered. The waitress was exceptional!! She said the buns were homemade and the owner makes a trip to get them 1-2 a week.the gf buns were tasty as well as light and fluffy!! I have been a celiac for the past 10 yrs and this sandwich was the most subperb I’ve had!! The whole sandwich was delish-!! The sauces were homemade as well! She offered me a side salad with the homemade dressing since the fryer was not a dedicated fryer which was totally fine. They was totally accommodating and very friendly! I would return again when in this area! A very high five to the waitress and the cook!!!!
Dietary restrictions: A gluten free and dedicated fryers they uderstood this and was able to accommodate for me. My Kraut burger was excellent !!!

We recently had our groom’s supper at Key Largo. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. Staff even took the time to turn on all of our candle lights before we arrived which made our decorating look great when we got there. I would recommend Key Largo for an event again!

We went here on a weekend when they offer prime rib and ribeye steaks. The service was fantastic but the quality and cooking of the meat was unsatisfactory. The prime rib was ordered rare and came out well done. The ribeyes (at $37.50 / 12oz) were a half inch thick and also overdone. After a few bites the prime rib was deemed inedible and was brought to the waitress's attention. We asked for the order to be redone to rare. She returned a few minutes later with the well done piece stating the kitchen said it was an "end piece" and they were not going to replace it. They claimed they were at the mercy of their supplier as to cuts and quality (?) As previously mentioned it was inedible so it was left uneaten. I feel it was inexcusable not to replace a simple piece of meat and made even worse by poor customer service. The four of us spent over $200 on a very disappointing meal. On the way out the offended diner had words with the manager and was called "rude to the staff" "mean" and "not from around here because people around here are nice". I felt the manager deserved to hear what was said, and she was the only one, deservedly so, to hear it. Our waitress was generously tipped for her good service. Due to their total disregard for customer service we will not be returning.

This place has a good view of Shetek and is a hot spot during the summer. If you want to spend the day boating on Shetek, they have a great area to park your boat and go up for lunch - nice outside dining area too. The food prices are very fair for being the only show on the water! Don't miss their Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich! The Pizza is loaded with ingredients and ranks #1 for our family. The drinks are cold and the people are so nice. Great for families and they have bands later in the evenings for fun summer nights. Go early - gets packed after 6:30.

Had the buffet. The food was only room temp not hot at all . However, the chicken was good and some what warm it did taste good. Potato's gravy ribs etc. cold. The salad bar part was fresh and delicious. I think they need to keep trying. Sometimes with a young crew it takes a bit to get everything up to par like it should be. Hope to give you a try again some day.
