The bakery had a basic selection of various doughnuts and some bread. Breakfast and lunch are also available. The bakery opens very early at 5 am. I ordered the oatmeal and toast. I liked the oatmeal.
What a wonderful bakery/diner! We took our Mock Trial team to Slayton for some scrimmages. When we travel we like to find local restaurants and this is one of the best I’ve ever been to! Service was wonderful and quick, the food was delicious and fresh, and the employees were so kind and accompanying to us! They also have really great prices which is always a bonus!
There wasn't a lot in the bakery case, but we had lunch there and it was really good! I would have given 5 stars, but we had trouble getting our bill and paying because they got pretty busy. Otherwise I would recommend this place for lunch.
