Not sure if this place is under new ownership but last year I’d drive by and it was always packed. Stopped in last night and I will not be going back. Flies everywhere. Kids quesadilla dripped juice out the side. I’m pretty sure it was made with canned chicken. My son’s high chair was about to fall apart. Server had her thumb in my rice when she brought it out. I don’t think their hood in the kitchen works the place was filled with smoke. If you are hungry and heading thru south haven keep driving.

NOT IMPRESSED, going down hill fast.
No liquor license anymore.
They weren't busy maybe 3 other tables.
Waiters were to busy on their phones a table over from us to remember they had a table outside. Dude came in mad asking for stuff then left.
All our food was flavorless, burnt, and dried out. Food came out one by one, had to wait a while for the disappointment. My daughters chicken strip basket was barely touched because it tasted just like dirty grease. Will not be return.

Not ordering take out again. They used to be really good. Take out was a layerer of geese on a tortilla and some steak. This time was gross. This restraunt is done unless they get their liquor licence back.

The portion size is large. Food tastes good and it's a reasonable price.

Best Mexican food in the area. What a pleasure to have some authentic Mexican food, with no Americanization. All four of us were more than satisfied with the selections available, the taste and quality of our meals, and the knifing sounds from the kitchen. Will be going back soon so my sister can try it too.

Just an FYI, they lost their liquor license, so they can't serve alcohol. That meant no Margheritas, but the food was woth the trip!

Messed up order. Chicken and steak tasted like fish and had 5 different people walk by and not one ever stopped and asked if anyone wanted a refill until they were bring food out.

Been going since it opened and total enjoyment of food and staff;. Has something Happened? New owners and staff? Went this past Monday, what a come down. The entrance sidewalks were filthy. Went inside and the music was turned up loud enough to blow the speakers. The floors were filthy. Two girls were working. one was on her cell phone so the other one seated us. She could hardly speak english. Had to repeat 3 times that we wanted tea with lemon (what we always order) she came back in about 5 minutes and said NO TEA AND NO LEMON. At this time and sheer discuss we got up and left and we never go back.

Did this place change owners? No liquor license now and the food quality was horrible. Last year this was one of the best Mexican restaurants around but now I would have to say the worst. Out of 7 of us we were all missing items the menu described, they didn’t even have guacamole lol. I got the fajita burrito, they forgot the lettuce, tomato, sour cream etc and the chicken was dry and the burrito was very small/skinny. No one was impressed by any means. The music shut off half way through and they never bothered to turn it back on, instead there was high pitch squeal noise. Asked for a virgin margarita and ended up with a blended one with whip cream, I wanted a drink not desert. The server didn’t check on us and couldn’t get a water until the very end. Then of course it took forever to get our check. We just dealt with it and didn’t complain but will not be going back.

Agave in Mayer used to be our fav restaurant! I don't know what is happening! They can no longer serve alcohol. No Margaritas!? WT#? We stopped by 2 times in last week and they were closed early. They are not answering the phone for takeout!! We are super sad. Something is going on with the owner.
