First Puerto Rican restaurant that tastes similar to how my grandma would prepare it. Excellent rice from the texture to the flavor. The chicken was made very well as well as the plantains. I also had an incredible chicken empanada that I would highly recommend! Overall the food came via delivery and was still hot and I was very pleased.

We just left here and was overcharged by $30. When we paid we thought the price sounded high, so we went online and input our order to compare prices. The online price was $62.56, but the restaurant charged $92. We enjoyed the food, but won't be back. A dishonest establishment doesn't deserve our hard earned money.

So much so that I didn't visit this place. And they have lost their way, the quality of the terrible food. The beans were pure water without flavor, the steak with onions seemed reheated, the quality of the food was very bad, I hope they return to what it was before, the food was better in the cart than this place... it is inconceivable to eat Puerto Rican food with a Mexican flavor...I think there is another management, change the name like this we are sure we will want what I recommend, give it chipotle or la michoacana... because the only name left for Puerto Rican is

We had a big catering order for about 100 people from El Jibarito and it was amazing!
Everyone raved about the amazing food that was freshly made and delicious. The owners themselves delivered and provided a nicely decorated board with all the items of food on it, they went above and beyond!
They were very sweet and we would order from them again! Muchas Gracias!!

My opinion is that I am from Puerto Rico in Minnesota, this is the only Puerto Rican place you can find, the food is ok... I think that to be the only Puerto Rican place they should get more out of it... The place looks like a small town cafeteria and it is not impressive, The prices are very high and the amount of food is small and passable. It would be great if they gave more love to the place as it deserves and I think they would do better.

La Verda shows the difference in management. I don't know why they don't put it under new management and sell other types of food because they don't know what Puerto Rican food is. In customer service everything is very good. In terms of atmosphere I give it a 9 out of 10. I hope they can improve. For my part, I won't go for a while since there are restaurants with a better taste of Puerto Rico.

I tried El Jibarito for the first time Friday, and I feel like I found a hidden gem. It was the first Peurto Rican food I'd had and I enjoyed the rich, warm flavors. The service was welcoming and friendly. I'll definitely be going back to try more menu items!

Great place, with great people and great food. I recommend it. One day it was almost closing time and we called to see if we could go, they told us to come in and that they would wait for us. They truly have that Puerto Rican seasoning ?? Go and try it. Don't let anyone tell you any different.
