Hy-Vee Market Grille

This location is a joke, the store is filthy, the staff is rude and couldn’t care less about customer service, I assume it comes from poor upper management not setting the standards.

This is an above average grocery store with many options. I would have given this store a five-star rating, but the food court needs some work. Food in the food court can be dry, overcooked, and seems to be sitting out for a while. The grocery area would get five stars for selection and quality.

Apparently this is the only Hyvee market grille that serves their hibachi food with one bowl so you get far less portions than anywhere else. All the other Hyvee locations serve two bowls. One bowl for rice and one for veggies. They were told by corporate to start doing this. Seems odd as all the other locations still use two bowls and it’s been two bowls for along time.

Food isn't that great but my biggest complaint is every time we go here for their breakfast, their waffle machine is broken. We've been here 3 different times the first time being at least a year ago and as I said, every single time their waffle machine has been broken. Are you guys EVER going to get it fixed? Why are you even offering waffles on your menu when you obviously have no intention of ever fixing it?

I gave this store a one for the grocery store itself. Use caution if wanting to work here. They will do little or no training. SLP police monitor this store as they do not train employees on the selling of alcohol and cigarettes. They have received many citations and you as the employees get to pay them. Do your research and work anywhere else.

WOW Customer service! We had an event planned tonight for 80 people and with the storms last night, our catering service lost all of our food. Kari and Amy at the Spring Lake Park HyVee were able to pull together a menu last minute AND deliver it to us last minute! They really helped us in a bind. I have always loved HyVee, but then now earned a customer for life and will get all of my catering referrals! Thank you so much!! #amazing #customerservice

Asian food was mediocre, fried rice had no flavor. It was barely above room temp. Took 20 minutes to get a kids meal hotdog and cheese curds.

The market grill generally does a good job. It's fast to get in for breakfast on the weekends. But to be honest, it's hit and miss sometimes. Had to go to the diary department to buy my own french vanilla creamer for my coffee, which I was surprised of seeing it Mother's day. I feel they could do that themselves if they were out. The prices are good and the food was good.

often daily specials are gone before noon. store manager, John, said they offer substitute items...but they don't. want to love hv-vee, but can't.

Go to for lunch, build your own hibachi, prepared and grilled in front of you, hot every time

I brought the fam to Hy-Vee for dinner since I needed gas ($1.34 off per gallon ?). It was later and after I got my husband and kiddos settled with dinner, I went to order a sandwich from the deli. They were closing up and I figured I was out of luck. Thankfully the two people working took pity on this mama and told me I could be their last customer. Not only did they show extreme kindness for a mama in need, but this sandwich is PHENOMENAL!!!! OMG! They should train everyone so that every time I get one it will be this good!!! THANK YOU!!!!
