Fave place for takeout around the whole lake! Pho is also very good. Fave dish is the 5 spice squid.
Beautiful location for being in a strip mall.
The service was very good, it was very quiet the day we were there.
The food was delicious, I think we all brought some food home!

Best eggrolls ever. Very fresh and not puny. I had a special order of chicken subgum chow mien in a white sauce. Such amazing flavor and was still ready on time. generous portions. Wish I could give you 10 stars.

Sign says closes at 830. Went in a little after 8 and was denied dine in service. They probably should update times if they aren't going to service dine in until close.

Asian Bistro has some of the best Chinese, Cambodian, and Vietnamese cuisine I have ever had. They also have some of the most friendly staff I have encountered while dining out.
We got the Pu-Pu platter, which had a bit of most of their appetizers. The shrimp toast was absolutely phenomenal, as were the wontons, egg roll, and wings. We also got the spring rolls, which were some of the best I've ever had. They were huge and packed a good variety of fresh crisp veggies and meat.
I had the Walleye with meat sauce. So delicious and it was so much food. The sauce was fantastic. We also had the Mongolian beef. It was great as well.
The two men working were super friendly and attentive. There were numerous take out orders that came through while we were there, and the staff seemed to know each of the customers personally.

Underwhelming food.
We’ve visited here a couple times now. Friendly staff and the prices are ok but the food was pretty disappointing.
Dishes we tried: beef lo mein, house fried rice, egg rolls, veggie egg rolls, tofu and broccoli, sesame noodles, sesame chicken.
Everything we got was very heavy and greasy. The noodles were over cooked. And most of the sauces on our dishes were very salty.

My kingdom for a horse. Ever heard that one? You're going to find it very hard for anyone to complain about anything in the desert. It is what it is. I suppose we should be grateful that it exists.
I really want the new ownership to prosper but the food quality has to improve or they’ll lose a lot of the previous owners loyal customers. The Tiger pork was watery. The “fresh” spring rolls had meat that was hard and tasted old/funky. The egg foo young may have been the worst egg foo young I’ve ever had. I’ll give it one more chance and re-rate because I’m hoping it was an off night and it gets better
2nd time around. Bumped up to two stars. Spicy wings were well cooked but not spicy. Was hoping for a little flare from some good homemade sauce but it was the standard Sysco neon pink sweet and sour sauce. Weak. As for the beef fried rice, the rice was ok but the beef tasted spongy (like it was boiled) and unseasoned, and it seemed like it was tossed in at the last minute. I just can’t see going back. Which is a shame because this was a go-to for many years. I do wish them luck tho….
This tastes nothing like your traditional American Chinese food. That's what I was expecting. Everything taste very different than what you would expect. My sesame chicken taste like orange chicken. The beef sticks were puny and not as sweet as traditional beef sticks. The fried rice was bland. Almost tasted like it came out of a plastic bag. The steamed dumplings texture was off. Almost cat food-like. My egg drop soup was good, but came with no Chinese crackers. Honestly, wouldn't recommend.

My second time here. Thought I would give you another chance. Wrong! Dumpling wraps were doughy, soft and mushy. I'm no Asian chef, but the pasta should be al dente and stand up to being cooked with filling. Viet egg rolls, same. Do you even know how to make Vietnamese egg rolls? Answer: No. The outside layer should be delicate and crispy, not clumpy and doughy. Sorry, but for a second time, NO. I'm not sure how you guys are staying in business. Best of luck.

You must try the Vietnamese egg rolls, our personal favorite, and sharing is optional but not recommended!

Love this place!! Been here 4 weeks in a row. Unlike other reviews, I and my family have found the food delicious. Very consistent. Soups are very good. Shrimp toast is out of this world! Vietnamese Fried Egg Rolls are also a favorite. Chow Mein, Beef Chow Fun, Kung Pao Chicken, Seasame Shrimp, Mongolian Beef have all been great. Love the atmosphere and the service. Great people!
Pho was ok, the other food has been better in times past when we have ordered dinner take out.

after the new management, I had got spring rolls, Mongolian chicken and Kung pao beef. the spring rolls were absolutely terrible, almost no spice, just lettuce and unseasoned pork. the Mongolian chicken and Kung pai beef pretty much looked the exact same and clearly were using the same base sauce that was not seasoned well and just bland. also the price nearly doubled for smaller portions from the original management. this is not recommended at all as it is way too expensive for the food. even if the food was the $10 a plate I would still not recommend also their menu is absolutely massive, so clearly they have not perfected their dishes and just want to try and make everything with the same ingredients with barely doing anything different
