Service is friendly and unpretentious — the kind that’s happy to talk hop choices or just hand you a pint and let the lake do the talking.
If you’re looking for a brewery that leans into its lakeside setting — relaxed, thoughtful, and rooted in good beer and good company — Back Channel Brewing delivers. Come for the view, stay for the beer, and don’t skip whatever food truck happens to be parked out front that day. 🍺
A good local brewery to bring friends and family. I like their outdoor tv to watch sports and they have fun events throughout the year. Can get pretty busy in the summer, but they have outdoor bars so you'll always be able to get a beer quickly. Also like that they have a food truck—I just wish they would switch up the food truck vendors from time to time.
The space is fantastic, especially on a warm day when all the doors are open. It feels more coastal than lakeside, with décor that’s both warm and inviting.
The beer, however, was a letdown. To be fair, I only tried one, but their one IPA that wasn't hazy didn’t land. The opening flavor was fine, but it finished muddy and lacked the crispness you’d hope for.
