We love going to the drive-in during the summer. I always get the chicken dinner and for the price, it's pretty good. This is where I bring my parents if they come visit and want something quick.

I can't believe I have not rated Minnetonka Drive-In yet. I've lived out here for 24 years and I can walk to the drive-in. Their burgers are amazing and we go here quite often. On Thursdays they have the old car show which is really cool but super busy. I highly recommend heading to the drive-in when it's open during the summer. It does close down during the winter so time it wisely. This was an old A&W Root beer drive-in so it's legit a drive-in! If you don't drive there you can always walk inside and order and then sit on one of the tables and they will bring your food out to you. It's such a fun experience that you can't miss so make time to go there

Ordered a minnetonka double, it was cooked to a hockey puck like consistency and also had mayo which was not listed on the menu. The second time we tried, the food was much better. I'm glad we gave it another shot.

I wish there was a negative star…or 5. The burger was the thinnest driest Cisco delivery variety. My husbands chicken basket tasted like premasticated deep fat fried fish. And since a portion of the styrofoam container was melted, we are questioning exactly what we consumed when trying the chicken. The malt was watery with a funny taste…as if its basic ingredient was a reconstituted synthetic food substitute. And now let’s move on to drive in service….expecting the charm of a time capsule throwback to the bygone days of carhops, I pushed the button as the sign instructed….chirp..chirp. Nothing. I exited the car and went inside to order. I questioned the bill when presented and was told “oh we don’t update the menu since menu prices are raised all the time.”

Good fast service, however the food is very mid. McDonald’s would be a better choice if you want a burger. I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings, my son ordered a pizza burger. The burger comes with only pickles and cheese and has no char or browning, my son’s pizza burger is unlike any pizza burger I have ever seen. Typically a pizza burger comes with mozzarella and marinara sauce. Not this one, it’s a deep fried patty with nothing else. Onion rings and fries were good.

I’ve really enjoyed the drive in over the years. The staff is great and the root beer is amazing. The reason for the lower review is because of the VERY big political sign they have up. I just don’t think businesses should be having political signs of any sort since it can make others feel uncomfortable. We’re all already so divided, can’t we just enjoy some burgers and floats!
Everyone should be able to go and enjoy the amazing drive in, regardless of political beliefs.

Very cool local spot with great food! The chicken tenders and fried chicken are amazing, some of the best I’ve had! The cheese curds and fries are also great options. My mom loves the onions rings! Good root beer float too!! Lots of outdoor seating in the shade

Unique place for Minnesota. The kids at the counter were very sweet. We were biking the Dakota trail and stopped on our way.
