Used to be one of our favorite spots. Went last night and had the WORST experience ever. It took nearly 15 minutes for anyone to come over to take drink orders and it was nearly empty. Our waitress then rudely asked if we had “papers” to go with our ID because they were vertical. Hint hint WI and ND IDs stay vertical until 27. The manager then came over and made up some law that they would get fined if her served us with vertical IDS and was very rude and snippy. Mind you we had been served their many times before and this is completely untrue. On our way out another staff member cursed at us due to using a wrong door. Overall a horrible experience that ruined our night.

My spirit finds its deepest resonance not merely in the hallowed halls where nostalgia breathes, but in those rare sanctuaries where the echoes of yesteryear are profoundly elevated by the very essence of human grace. In such cherished enclaves, the meticulously preserved relics of a bygone age, themselves imbued with the silent stories of generations, transcend their materiality, becoming vibrant through the crucible of genuine human interaction. The attentive care, flowing with an almost poetic rhythm, ensures every need is met with an anticipatory kindness that feels less like service and more like an embrace of shared history. This is further amplified by a truly friendly attitude, a radiant welcome that transforms a simple visit into a profound communion, dissolving the barriers between stranger and kindred spirit. And when this warmth is coupled with a deep, insightful knowledge—each detail shared not as a fact, but as an illuminating narrative that breathes life into forgotten tales—the past ceases to be a static exhibit and becomes a living, breathing tapestry of understanding. This sublime synergy doesn't just create a pleasant outing; it forges an indelible connection, elevating a simple visit into a timeless communion, a profound affirmation of shared heritage and the enduring beauty of the human spirit

Loved it there! We're from NY so it takes a lot to impress us, but The Blue Goose certainly did! The whole concept is very cool, the drinks were delicious and the service was wonderful!
First experience going to the speakeasy, Went here with high hopes and excitement from reading all the 5 star reviews. We got there and thought the entrance was very clever! We sat down and the waitress brought us the menus of food and drinks stated she would give us couple mins to check them out and be back. With in a minute or two we decided what we wanted and put the menus down. Then after 15 mins of waiting and watching 3 other couples /groups come thru the door get served and checked on and served their drinks, there was a few groups but not packed... finally after close to 20 mins the waitress had a another person come take are order that was not taking anyone else's order....we got are drinks and food and everything was truly amazing, we finished are drink and food and waitress walked by a dozen times never said anything or asked if we another drink, so after sitting for another 10 -15 mins after we finished we asked for are tab. I was so disappointed with the service I really wanted to like this place sadly after that experience don't think I'll be back ...

My wife and I sought a speakeasy experience, and this establishment certainly met our expectations. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was remarkable, and the cocktails were delicious!

Great selection of cocktails, the nachos are excellent. Personally I love espresso martinis and Moscow Mules (picture), the old fashioned is a great choice if you're into whiskey. We've been here a few times and still have yet to get through the entire drink menu.

Most interesting restaurant/bar in town. Limited menu but what they do have is very good and drinks are hands down the best. Unique atmosphere to boot ties it together.

Amazing drinks & food. Small space but great atmosphere!! Get there early as it fills up fast.
This is a fun place to have in St. Cloud! The bartender at The Veranda offered to bring me down to the speakeasy, but I wanted to wait on my friend and we both wanted to find it on our own; that part was half the fun!
I LOVE the vibe once you get in. It is exactly what you’d expect. The drinks were superb. You normally have to go to bigger cities for drinks like those.
The food was overall ok, but the smoked salmon crostini was fantastic. I will say I was highly disappointed by the feta dip. The tomatoes should be cut smaller (they were cherry tomatoes halved the long way), and then it needed SO MUCH MORE feta on top. There was honestly a pitiful amount of feta on top, you really can’t even call it feta dip when you sprinkle it on (as you would something like cotija on a Mexican dish). Also, that dish needs silverware served with it, especially if you don’t cut the tomatoes smaller. Our server said they only provide silverware and napkins if you request them because the tables were small. Didn’t need an explanation even, but it was kind of awkward. But that salmon crostini… man. I don’t even really eat seafood and it was fabulous and not at all fishy.
The only other thing I will say, and this is from someone sound sensitive… we were the only ones there at first and there was music playing that put you in the 20’s era… and then you could hear a phone speaker with spoken word in the background (like a YouTube video) and I went to see what it was and our server was watching a video while she rolled silverware. The acoustics with no noise from other patrons just make that really distracting. And you could hear different music coming from the kitchen a little too, which I am more understanding of. Again, I’m really sound sensitive, but when I go out to dinner or for drinks, I feel like I should be able to trust that I’m not going to hear a cacophony of various phones/music. Our server turned it down or off, but again, acted a bit awkward about that.
Our server truly redeemed herself in all other areas of service though, she clearly cares a great deal about the success of the business and is so knowledgeable and passionate and willing to offer fantastic suggestions. Because of that, I struggled to decide if I should voice my true opinions, but I also want places like this to be successful around here. I feel with a few adjustments, they have a great future in St. Cloud!

Im not sure how this place has a 4.9. The service absolutely horrible. 3 waitresses looked at us and didn't say a word. This is the second time being here. Been here for 40 minutes and just got a drink. Waitresses need to work on their people skills. The first time we were bellied up. Took almost an hour to get a drink. I've seen 1 Waitress give better service to more people.
