I had a delicious goat meat here!

First time in to Botor Village Cafe & Bakery. We stopped in for lunch and had Sambusas as appetizers. They were served with ranch and a spicier red sauce (not too spicy). I combined the two and the overall flavor was nothing short of delicious. We then had chicken and rice and lamb and rice. The rice was fabulous (not plain white rice), the lamb was fall off the bone tender, the chicken was tender and in a light sauce with garlic, onions and peppers. Each came with a small salad and a banana (not sure if there's a reason for the banana or if they had extras from breakfast). Large portions and very tasty. The owner is kind and happy to answer questions. It could use a little atmospheric help to draw people in more, but the food is great. Give it a try!

The service was so thoughtful and attentive! We had a chicken plate and a lamb plate and both were delicious and super flavorful. I wish I had been able to return to try some of the other dishes and sweets!

Came in before the lunch hour so it was empty. I had just been walking by and decided to stop in. The young man came out from the kitchen to take my order to go. I only ordered Sambusa with the intent on coming back another time to delve into some of the other foods I’m not familiar with. Mohamed then came up and introduced himself. Apologized for the long wait and offered a free beverage.

Sambusa is a basic staple but is so tasty. I told him it would be nice to have more descriptions of the other foods so I know what I’m ordering. He said he’ll be working on that.

I look forward to going back for a sit down and really enjoy the ambiance and food of another place.

We tried this place and it was a let down. The staff were not very welcoming and helpful. The food tasted old. I ordered cheese fries that came with no cheese and tasted a bit raw and greasy. The tables were sticky and I somehow got trapped in the women's room becuase I didn't know to turn the handle UP not down.

Be warned- the gyro is not a traditional gyro. Super fiery hot red sauce and lettuce in a pita, when I asked for tatziki was given ranch.Food was ok, but most certainly not what i wanted.

Rice is super herbaceous but not overly seasoned. The lamb is *chefs kiss.* The fish is perfectly fried. The chef that provided service was beyond accommodating and very polite. The hot sauce is not for the Minnesota faint of heart but not too spicy where you can't enjoy its flavor!

I got the chicken and rice and a Sambusa also. Food was amazing and will be back for more! I grabbed a piece of Vanilla Cake and that was great as well!
