Dolsie's Lunch Box Grille

I didn’t have any expectations because the name didn’t tell me much. A friend took me to lunch at this place. It was like going to Cheers! The gal that took our order (by the way, you order at the counter) was so friendly and happy (even when the temp outside was 0 degrees)! My friend visits there often and told me to order the fish. Me thinking “blah, a fish and chips, boring.” Wow, did I misjudge that one! The fish was covered in a tempura type batter and was piping hot on a bed of homemade ripple chips; all served with tartar sauce, Cole slaw and what I think was cheez whiz! How did I not know about that delicious, warm orange stuff to dip those chips in? My friend had the same in addition to some mouthwatering cupcake. Don’t take my word, just go! You can thank me later!

Best lunch around! Felt like we were welcomed into a family members home! I don’t know which was better, the exceptional service and friendliness or the food! Both outstanding! Thank you for a wonderful experience! :)

This is a gem of a restaurant in St. Cloud. My husband swears it's the best burger in the area and I always look forward to fish taco Fridays!

The atmosphere gives small town dining in the heart of the city. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but I highly recommend adding a popover to whatever you choose!

I ordered the special; Chocolate chip banana pancakes with a caramel maple syrup, which I normally would not have ordered because of the chocolate chips, but it was amazing! The balance of the banana, chocolate and the caramel syrup rocks!

Small place, but a lot of heart goes into the menu and cleanliness of this place. Not full service. You order at the counter and the charm of this place makes you want to help clean up. Had plenty of awesome lunch options (a bit of breakfast options) for me and my family. Would recommend!!

I love this place. The food is fresh and delicious. I like that you can see the kitchen and see your food being prepared. The staff are very friendly. The place is bright and spotless. I had the gyro sandwich and it was fabulous. The pita bread was so soft and fresh. I can't wait to go back to Dolsie's Lunchbox.

The Strami Burger is easily the best burger in town. Generation portion of pastrami and coleslaw on a excellently seasoned burger and the bun is toasted perfectly. All the specials are amazing and the regular menu items are delicious too. Each soup I have had is delicious ( the loaded potato and the wild rice are particularly delightful) and the Ollie's are great as well. And don't forget the cupcakes. You can't go wrong with anything here.
