We had heard that there had been some changes made since the last time we went here. Our previous visit had been a bit disappointing because we had been used to the quality of Mongos. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. They had eggs available now, white or fried rice, spices and a good selection of meats and seafood including crab and pollock. The only disappointing part was if you want shrimp you have to go on Tuesdays or Thursdays. We were there on a Sunday evening. The photo is of a desert option, S'mores. Yes, you get the toast the marshmallows over an open flame! My granddaughter's thought it was the coolest thing. Our waitress was Rosie, and she was absolutely amazing. She made sure our drinks were always full and checked on us periodically to see if there was anything else we needed.

It was really busy so I understand the wait 100%, but the service was really bad. The layout of the food was changed to people were bumping into each other every time you moved, I think they got rid of some sauces, and the server forgot everything we asked for. I barely ate half of my plate since it all tasted very bland and dry. When we were ready to pay our server was nowhere to be seen and had to be rung up by I believe the manager..

Our experience was fine. I didn't feel like the ingredients were all fresh. We weren't sure of the process since we had never been to HuHot before, otherwise we would have changed how we put our bowls together. It's nice everyone can pick exactly what they want but never trying it before it makes it hard to know what the flavors are and what ingredients go well together. We're not rushing to go back but would if someone in our party wanted to try it out.

Brynn was the best server I’ve had in a LONG time. Attentive, funny and clearly enjoys his job. The food is what you make it but the service is top notch and it is allergy friendly which is a bonus! 10/10

The cooks were great, asked if I had än allergy and confirmed I did and they took extra care while cooking my food. I ordered a cider, Angry Orchard, and as I took a sip of my drink to cool my mouth I realized it was a beer instead. When the waitress came around I told her the issue and she said I must have ordered it wrong. I confirmed before I left that she ordered me a Castle Danger instead. Not impressed, would rather an apology if doing wrong than that. Long ride gone throwing up and now horrible stomach pains! Well the cooks were great!

Wonderful experience! Our waitress Ashely was very helpful, friendly and personable. Ashely definitely made the experience for my wife and I 100x better. Food was also great and they had lots of options to choose from. If you don’t know what to make, they have recipe cards you can easily follow until you learn what you like. Only thing my wife wished they had was Alfredo sauce, otherwise 10/10 experience!

The service here is absolutely fantastic. Shane and Rosie gave 110% and all with a smile. So kind and so friendly, it was like walking into a small family owned business. The food was great, but the kind staff is the reason we will continue to give HuHot our business ☺️

The food is just like the original Mongos but you get more. You get choice of soup or salad to start. Soup was awful. No flavor. Than u create ur own plates. Its unlimited vidits with the price too. Rice is brought separate to the table. You also can take left overs to go. So better deal fot $$ now. The put a lot more in the servers and uts seems to be low staff so it could be difficult when busy byt ut never appears busy. Its not as clean as it used to be but definitely a good option for families.
