This makes the second time I gave this place a chance. The first time me and a co-worker showed up for lunch, the woman at the counter called her father and held her cell phone out on speaker to order. (The cook was not even at the building) He then told us he would be back at the restaurant in 20 minutes then he would start cooking our meal. We just left due to not having that much time for lunch.

Fast forward 6 months and I tried to order takeout this time. I was denied the special that is available Tuesday and Wednesday because and I quote, (no no this free here. You don't get free food) it was buy 2 get 1 sandwich free......

Very warm welcoming atmosphere. Even though I don’t speak their native language, I didn’t feel out of place or unwelcome. They speak perfect english too, so understanding each other was not awkward. The food was hot and flavorful, and didn’t make me feel bloated and guilty although the portions are enough for two (or three). Glad I found this place while in St. Cloud. Both visits were worth the 15 minute walk from the hotel.

This restaurant has some incredible authentic Ethiopian food!! The food is great, and the coffee is fantastic. Not to mention the presentation and friendly staff. I will definitely be back!!

Amazing Ethiopian food! Many of the "Americanized items" on the menu were not available, so we went with their recommendations on the most popular Ethiopian options.

Sambusa, cheesy fries, Melkka Special, and Shekla Tebs made up our meal. Dispite never having had ethnic foods like this, our kids absolutely loved it as well.

And of course we had some delicious Baklava to finish the meal.
